Focus on effectively implementing the Law on Inspection
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 21, in Vinh City, the Provincial Inspectorate held a Conference to disseminate and thoroughly grasp the 2022 Inspection Law and a number of documents guiding its implementation.
Attending the conference were delegates representing the Government Inspectorate's Legal Department; leaders and inspectors of relevant departments, branches, localities and units.
At the conference, delegates listened to comrade Tran Van Long - Deputy Director of the Legal Department - Government Inspectorate present the basic contents of theLaw on Inspection 2022(effective from July 1, 2023).
The 2022 Law on Inspection consists of 8 chapters and 118 articles. The Law continues to thoroughly grasp and concretize the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies on inspection work. This is also the legal basis for the process of innovation in inspection organization and activities in the spirit of Resolution No. 18 dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and reorganize the organization and apparatus of the political system towards streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency.
Accordingly, the 2022 Inspection Law has many new and more detailed points compared to the 2010 Inspection Law, such as the development of annual inspection plans; issuance of inspection conclusions, public disclosure of inspection conclusions; handling of overlaps and duplications in inspection activities; supervision of the activities of the Inspection Team; establishment of department inspection... The people's inspection regime has also been separated from the 2022 Inspection Law and has been adjusted in more detail in the Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level...
At the Conference, delegates also listened to the content of Decree No. 43/2023/ND-CP dated June 30, 2023 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Inspection. At the same time, they participated in exchanging and discussing to answer questions related to inspection and examination work at their agencies and units.
