U11 Song Lam Nghe An faces many difficulties before the 2023 National Children's Tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - U11 Song Lam Nghe An is the current Champion of the National Children's Football Tournament. Coach Nguyen Hong Viet's team has just successfully passed the qualifying round with a perfect record. However, entering the final round this year, the team has to face many difficulties.
Entering the 2023 National U11 Qualifiers,U11 Song Lam Nghe Anled by coach Nguyen Hong Viet, competed in region 2 and was in the same group with the teams U11 Ha Giang, U11 Hong Linh Ha Tinh, U11 Hoang Anh Gia Lai and U11 Phu Yen. The Nghe An team showed their superior class when they won all matches, scoring 26 goals and only conceding 2 goals. Specifically, U11 Song Lam Nghe An won 11-0 against Ha Giang; 5-1 against U11 Hong Linh Ha Tinh; 6-1 against U11 Hoang Anh Gia Lai and 4-0 against Phu Yen. With that result, U11 Song Lam Nghe An ended the qualifying round with the top spot in the group and won a ticket to the final round of the 2023 National U11 Tournament.
After the qualifying round of the National Children's Football Tournament in the 3 regions of North, Central and South ended, the Organizing Committee of the National Children's Football Tournament determined the 16 best representatives to enter the Final Round.
Specifically, in region 1, there are teams: Vietcombank Thai Binh, Gia Bao Hai Duong, Hung Yen, T&T Bac Giang, Ha Noi, Blue Sky, Thai Nguyen. Meanwhile, in region 2, there are Khanh Hoa, Song Lam Nghe An, Kon Tum, T&T VHS. And the teams in region 3 are Navy Phu Nhuan, Van Tam Dong Nai, Phu Tho, Luxury Ngoc Hung along with the host Dak Lak.
Before the final round of the 2023 National Children's Championship, coach Nguyen Hong Viet said: "U11 Song Lam Nghe An participating in the National Children's Football Championship this year faced many difficulties. Of which, the team consisted of 18 athletes, but 9 of them were promoted from U10, and they were still quite inexperienced. In addition, before the final round, the team did not have the opportunity to practice and get used to the indoor field. However, U11 Song Lam Nghe An also tried very hard to overcome the above difficulties and were determined to compete with all their might, achieving the highest results at the 2023 National U11 Championship".
The final round of the 2023 National Children's Football Tournament hosted by Dak Lak will take place from July 26 to August 5 at the Provincial Gymnasium (Buon Ma Thuot City).
