Accordingly, the car model that is being heavily discounted by up to 400 million VND is the Subaru Outback - the biggest discount ever, bringing the selling price of the Outback to 1.732 billion VND. More surprisingly, the cars that are heavily discounted are not the old versions, produced from previous years in stock, but the latest facelift version, just launched last April, imported completely from Japan.
Volkswagen is also launching an unprecedented deep discount program for the 7-seat SUV Volkswagen Teramont in July 2023. Specifically, in addition to 100% support for registration fees, equivalent to more than 240 million VND, car buyers will also receive a customer card worth 300 million VND.
At the same time, Volkswagen dealers are simultaneously offering Teramont for sale with a cash discount of 320 million VND, bringing the selling price from 2.499 billion VND to 2.179 billion VND.
Mitsubishi is also running a promotion for the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport model while the 2022 production inventory is still available. To clear the inventory, the Japanese automaker is offering a cash discount program of up to 220 million VND.
Accordingly, the 2 versions of Pajero Sport Diesel 4x2 AT and 4x4 AT produced in 2022 have cash discounts of 170 and 220 million VND respectively. After the discount, the above 2 versions have a selling price of only 960 million to 1.145 billion VND. In addition, the version produced in 2022 also receives a preferential loan interest rate package of 0% for the first 6 months or 6% for the first 12 months.
Not outside the "big sale" period, Honda CR-V, although a domestically assembled car, has a 50% reduction in registration fee, but to clear inventory and sell the new version, the company still gives incentives by reducing the price by an amount equivalent to 100% of the registration fee.
With the above incentives, customers who buy Honda CR-V will be able to buy the car at a price lower than the listed price by up to 136 million VND. In addition, because it is a domestically assembled car, the Government is currently reducing the registration fee by 50%, equivalent to 49.9 - 68 million VND.
With a high selling price, to compete with assembled rivals that are receiving incentives, Subaru Forester currently has the highest cash discount of up to 200 million VND.
Specifically, the three versions including Forester iL, iL EyeSight and iS EyeSight have cash discounts of 170, 150 and 200 million VND respectively. The prices after the reduction are 799, 949 and 999 million VND respectively. The iL EyeSight version has an additional gift set of upgraded accessories worth 23.5 million VND, but cannot be converted into cash.
