Advanced Political Theory Class K73.B10 (Nghe An Provincial Party Committee) journey to the source
(Baonghean.vn) - The delegation of students of the Advanced Political Theory Class K73.B10 (Nghe An Provincial Party Committee) returned to Quang Tri to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland.
Towards the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), from July 25 - 26, a delegation of students from the Advanced Political Theory Class K73.B10 (Nghe An Provincial Party Committee) led by Associate Professor, Dr. Le Van Chien - Director of the Institute of Leadership and Public Policy, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, came to the heroic land of Quang Tri to hold a ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs.

In a solemn atmosphere, delegates respectfully placed flower baskets and offered incense at the Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery Memorial and observed a minute of silence to express their respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs.
The delegation members burned incense at each grave at Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, the nation's outstanding sons who bravely fought and heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification, as well as in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The delegation also visited and offered flowers and incense at the graves at the National Cemetery of Route 9 - Southern Laos, one of the largest martyrs' cemeteries in Vietnam, located next to Highway 9, on a hill more than 6 km from the center of Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province. This is the resting place of about 10,000 heroic martyrs who served on the Route 9 front and in Laos during the resistance war against the US to save the country.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and offered incense at Quang Tri Citadel - a special national monument of Vietnam, known as the "human meat grinder", located in the center of Quang Tri town. Quang Tri Citadel is a military citadel and the headquarters of the Nguyen Dynasty in Quang Tri. This was also the center of Quang Tri province during the French colonial period and the Southern government. In particular, during the general offensive and uprising in 1972, Quang Tri Citadel became known to the world through the fierce 81-day and night battle to defend the citadel of our army and people. This is considered a cemetery without graves but a common grave of the Citadel soldiers who died for their homeland, for peace and national unity.

At the destinations, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs and promised to strive to work and study, promoting the revolutionary traditions of the homeland and country. Actively participate in educating patriotism and revolutionary heroism for the younger generation; fight against bureaucracy, corruption, waste, and negativity; build increasingly strong agencies and units, making an important contribution to the overall development of the province and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation./.
