Supreme People's Court introduces personnel planning for the Party Central Executive Committee

The Supreme People's Court has just held a conference to introduce personnel planning for the 14th Party Central Committee, term 2026-2031.

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh said that the purpose of the Conference is to proactively prepare a team of source cadres for training, fostering, and testing, as a basis for personnel work at the 14th National Congress of the Party and the People's Court after the Congress.

Delegates voted for the Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court.

The review and introduction of personnel for the planning of the 14th Party Central Committee, term 2026 - 2031, ensures the standards, conditions, age, correct subjects and direction of personnel work for the 13th Party Congress, to plan the Party Central Committee.

Also at the Conference, Chief Justice Nguyen Hoa Binh disseminated and thoroughly grasped the direction of personnel work and the personnel introduction process so that delegates could grasp the requirements, standards, and introduction methods, thereby promoting democracy and enhancing responsibility in introducing personnel to participate in the 14th Central Committee.

According to the standards, the personnel recommended for the Central Executive Committee's planning source are cadres with political qualities, ethics, and lifestyle; leadership and management capacity and sense of organization and discipline; decisive, resolute, and effective in performing assigned duties and tasks; with outstanding achievements and work products and good development prospects, ensuring compliance with the criteria and standards according to the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee.

Vote of confidence for Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court

Regarding personnel work, the Supreme People's Court also held a conference to vote on confidence for Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court in 2023.

The conference was carried out in accordance with the Party's policy on building and rectifying the Party and the political system; fighting against corruption and negativity; especially Regulation No. 96-QD/TW dated February 2, 2023 of the Politburo on taking a vote of confidence for leadership and management positions in the political system, Plan No. 26-KH/BCSĐ dated June 9, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court on taking a vote of confidence for officials holding leadership and management positions in the People's Court, building a leadership team of the Supreme People's Court with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige, and equal to the task.

Taking a vote of confidence contributes to assessing the prestige and performance of assigned duties and tasks of cadres; helps cadres "self-examine", "self-correct", continue to strive and practice in their work; is an important basis for training, fostering, arranging and using cadres; improving the effectiveness of leadership, management and supervision of cadres.

In the spirit of promoting democracy, objectivity, impartiality, honesty and high responsibility, the Conference voted for the Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court. Specifically:

1- Comrade Nguyen Tri Tue - Permanent Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

2- Comrade Nguyen Van Du - Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

3- Comrade Nguyen Van Tien - Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

4- Lieutenant General Duong Van Thang - Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Justice of the Central Military Court.

5- Comrade Pham Quoc Hung - Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

The results announced at the Conference showed that the Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court all achieved very high votes of confidence.
