Set up a fake crime scene to... blame the daughter-in-law

Angry because his daughter-in-law took her child back to her parents' house, Mr. Mai Van T. and his son staged a fake burglary scene and blamed the crime on their daughter-in-law.

Tho Xuan District Police, Thanh Hoa Province, has assigned Xuan Hung Commune Police to administratively sanction Mai Van T. (born in 1950) and Mai Ngoc A. (born in 1990), both residing in Xuan Hung Commune, Tho Xuan District, for reporting fake news.

Case records show that Tho Xuan District Police received a report from Mr. Mai Van T. about his family being broken into and having their property stolen.

According to Mr. T.'s report, at the time of the robbery, only Le Thi T. (born in 1996) and her son, Mai Ngoc A's wife - Mr. T.'s son, were at home. When Mr. T. and his wife returned, there was no one in the house, while the bedroom door was broken and the wardrobe was in disarray.

When the couple checked their property, they discovered that 5 taels of 9999 gold and 10 million VND were missing. Mr. T. immediately called Mai Ngoc A. and together they went to the police station to report.

Through verification and clarification, using professional measures, Tho Xuan District Police determined that Mr. T. and his son had created a fake scene of the gold theft to blame his daughter-in-law. The cause stemmed from family conflicts, Ms. T. took her child back to her parents' house, so Mr. T. and his son had hatred, creating the above incident.
