President Zelensky admits responsibility for attack on Crimea bridge
(Baonghean.vn) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted his responsibility in the attempt to attack the Crimea bridge.
In a video posted on his Telegram channel, President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted Kiev's responsibility for the attempted attack on the Crimean bridge on Saturday (August 12).

According to President Zelensky, the Ukrainian army responds to the Russian Armed Forces every day in a special operation, including “covering the Crimean bridge with white smoke.”
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on August 12 that Ukraine attempted to attack the Crimean bridge with an S-200 missile – the only missile modified to attack ground targets. However, the missile was shot down by Russia’s S-400 air defense system. The Crimean bridge was not damaged, but traffic was temporarily blocked.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that air defense forces had shot down at least 20 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that attacked targets in Crimea, with no casualties or damage to infrastructure in the UAV attacks.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has condemned what it described as a “terrorist attack” and warned that it would respond with certainty. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Russia strongly condemns and will not ignore attempts to attack Ukraine’s Crimea bridge, which is only a civilian infrastructure.
Ms. Zakharova noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to retake civilian facilities with such attacks, due to defeats on the battlefield.
