Stealing property and then digging a grave to hide it
Do Van Vien (born in 1989, residing in village 8, Hai Xuan commune, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh) repeatedly stole property and hid it in graves, waiting for the day to sell it.
On August 28, Mong Cai City Police said they had detained Do Van Vien to investigate the act of property theft.
Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. on August 24, Hai Xuan Commune Police, Mong Cai City received a report from Ms. NTT (born in 1989, residing in village 10, Hai Xuan Commune) that in the early morning of August 23, a thief broke into her house and stole a laptop worth about 10 million VND. After being discovered by Ms. T., the thief took the property and ran away.
Receiving the information, Hai Xuan Commune Police coordinated with professional teams of Mong Cai City Police to screen suspects throughout the area.

After more than 10 hours of investigation, Hai Xuan Commune Police identified and arrested Do Van Vien, the perpetrator of the theft. Vien has a long criminal record for theft.
Initially, Vien confessed that in the early morning of August 23, taking advantage of the heavy rain, he wandered alone through the villages of Hai Xuan commune to steal property from people's houses.
At 2 a.m. the same day, taking advantage of the fact that Ms. T's house was not locked, Vien sneaked into the house to steal the laptop. After being discovered, Vien hid the laptop in a long-prepared grave at Hai Xuan commune cemetery, waiting for an opportunity to sell it.
