According to documents at the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum: From the end of 1930, the first Communist Party cell in the Dien Hoa, Dien Vien, Dien Hanh areas was established at Phuong Lich communal house. Under the leadership of the Party cell, the Red Peasant Association, Red Self-Defense Force, and Women's Liberation organizations were established and developed vigorously. Phuong Lich communal house became a meeting place, a place to print documents, newspapers, and leaflets of the Party and a place where people's protests in the area took place in the years 1930-1931, 1936-1939, culminating in the August Revolution of 1945. On the night of August 20, at Phuong Lich communal house, comrades in the Dien Chau district Party Committee convened an emergency conference to discuss a plan to seize power in the provincial capital.

After the success of the August Revolution, Phuong Lich communal house was the location for the election of the first National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam along with many other important activities serving the revolutionary cause at that time.

Through the ups and downs of history, over time, Phuong Lich communal house has been restored and embellished many times so that today the communal house remains intact in its old location, a place for Dien Hoa people to organize annual cultural activities, improve spiritual life; is a red address to educate the tradition of patriotism for the young generation of the locality...

In Dien Chau, there is Phap Do Temple (Dan Trung - Minh Chau), which is also a relic with a strong imprint of patriotic tradition. The temple is one of the important places for meetings, exchanges, and communications in the Can Vuong movement against the French in the late 19th century, and a place for printing secret documents in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement 1930-1931. Notably, during the August Revolution of 1945, comrade Nguyen Tat Thang (assigned to lead the General Uprising in Dien Chau) represented the Viet Minh General Headquarters to hang the red flag with a yellow star in front of Phap Do Temple to gather people to seize power and establish the Dan Trung Provisional Revolutionary People's Committee.

Regarding the cultural value of Phap Do Temple, it is known that before 1945, every year on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month, the people in the surrounding area held a festival to commemorate, report their achievements, and offer to their "protector" god the achievements they had made after a year of labor and production. Through the festival, the spirit of learning, labor, and enthusiasm for production of the people was encouraged and motivated, and the community spirit of the local residents became increasingly close. This is a typical festival of the rice-growing agricultural residents in Nghe Tinh. Since 1945, the annual festival has been integrated with the nation's Independence Day (September 2).
