(Baonghean.vn) - After the holiday to visit their hometown and travel to Nghe An, on September 4, many people and tourists went to the airport, train station, and bus station to return to their hometown in time for work tomorrow.

According to reporters' records at noon and afternoon on September 4, Vinh airport, train stations, and bus stations in Nghe An all had a large number of passengers.

Mr. Vu Duc Hung, from Nam Dan district, said: During the holidays, I took the opportunity to visit my family and relatives, and now I am taking the opportunity to return to Hanoi to work. Knowing that on the last day of the holiday, there will be a lot of people traveling by train and bus, I proactively bought a round-trip ticket in advance. Today, the train also departed on time, without any delays, so the passengers were very satisfied.

The train Mr. Hung mentioned was NA12 Vinh - Hanoi, departing at 1:35 p.m. from Vinh Station. This was also the most crowded train at noon on September 4, with more than 600 passengers. Many passengers arrived about an hour early to check in and wait for the train.

Vinh Railway Station said: September 4 is the peak day after the holiday, the number of passengers increased. It is estimated that the number of passengers getting on and off the train is about 3,500, 3-4 times higher than normal days. Of which, there are 5 pairs of Thong Nhat trains running North - South picking up and dropping off passengers at Vinh Station, 1 pair of SE19/20 running Hanoi - Da Nang, pairs of trains in the NA1/2 section; SE35/36... and NA12 train Vinh - Hanoi.

Despite the surge in passenger numbers, there was basically no congestion or jostling at Vinh Station. Passengers getting on and off the train were given detailed instructions by station staff to ensure safety.

At Vinh airport, the number of passengers is also quite busy; in addition to the people returning to their hometowns, there are tourists returning to their hometowns after a vacation in Nghe An.

A representative of Vinh International Airport said that on September 4, there were 22 flights taking off and landing at Vinh airport, the number of passengers increased compared to normal days, mainly flights Vinh - Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh - Hanoi, Vinh - Buon Ma Thuot, Vinh - Cam Ranh... Passengers all arrived at the airport 1-2 hours early to proactively complete procedures.

Not only the airport and train stations, but also bus stations in the province were crowded with passengers on September 4. At Bac Vinh Bus Station, nearly 200 vehicles are operating at full capacity to serve passengers after the holiday. All vehicles are trying to pick up and drop off passengers as soon as possible to return to pick up new passengers. It is expected that on the evening of September 4, the number of passengers will peak, especially on the Vinh - Hanoi, Vinh - Da Nang, Vinh - Hue routes...

Not only inter-provincial passenger transport but also other intra-provincial means of transport such as buses, taxis... also saw a significant increase in the number of passengers on the last day of the holiday. Many Vinh residents, after the holiday, returned to their hometowns in districts and towns in Nghe An and gradually returned to the city on September 4. The authorities have also made plans to ensure traffic safety, especially during rush hour on the evening of September 4.
