The fact that the Organizing Committee of the Miss International Thailand 2023 pageant awarded 10 third runner-up titles has become the center of discussion on social networks and beauty forums.

The final night of the Miss International Thailand 2023 pageant took place on September 3 to find a representative for Thailand at the Miss International 2023 pageant taking place in Japan next October.

The final victory belonged to the beauty Supaporn Ritthipreuk (25 years old) after she defeated more than 20 other contestants. Supaporn Ritthipreuk has a beautiful face and a bright smile, suitable for the criteria of the Miss International contest.

In addition, the Thai beauty also has a lot of experience in beauty contests, so her performance skills, stage presence and behavior are all highly appreciated. Supaporn Ritthipreuk won the first runner-up position at Miss Universe Thailand 2017.

The two beauties Rossarin Thanadonphanich and Pichayada Phongcheep were awarded the titles of 1st and 2nd runner-up. However, the focus of the Miss International Thailand 2023 contest was the 3rd runner-up title for 10 beauties. The decision of the Organizing Committee to award many 3rd runner-up titles quickly became the center of discussion on social networks.

In the history of the Miss International Thailand pageant, this is the first time that so many beauties have won the 3rd runner-up title. Many opinions expressed disagreement with the decision of the Organizing Committee and said that awarding many titles reduces the prestige and quality of the contest.

In 2022, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Miss Grand International pageant, the pageant's president - Mr. Nawat - also caused a stir when he announced the 5 beauties who won the 5th Runner-up title of the pageant in addition to the titles of Miss, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, 3rd Runner-up and 4th Runner-up.

The 5 beauties who won the 5th Runner-up title of Miss Grand International 2022 were in the Top 10 finalists and had the opportunity to participate in the general activities of the Miss Grand International organization after the contest.

The Miss Universe Thailand 2023 pageant also caused controversy when it announced 7 beauties who won the title of 5th Runner-up. These beauties were all present in the post-contest media activities with the new Miss Universe Thailand - Anntonia Porsild.
