The delegation of Binh Chanh district (Ho Chi Minh City) donated a Great Solidarity house in Vinh city.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 7, a delegation from Binh Chanh district (Ho Chi Minh City) led by comrade Pham Van Luy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, came to present a Great Unity house in Cua Nam ward (Vinh city).
Also attending were comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, departments and representatives of Cua Nam ward leaders.
The Great Unity housing project was awarded to Mr. Nguyen Luong Hau’s household (Block 1, Cua Nam Ward), a near-poor household. He himself suffered from a stroke, and his wife and daughter-in-law have passed away. His son had an accident and is currently raising two children to study. The family’s circumstances are extremely difficult.
The total cost of the house is 200 million VND. Of which, the People's Council of Binh Chanh district supported 50 million VND; the Steering Committee for Mobilizing and Supporting Housing Construction and Repair in Vinh city supported 150 million VND.
The groundbreaking and inauguration time is right on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Vinh city's establishment, the 235th anniversary of Vinh City's Phoenix, and the 15th anniversary of Vinh city's first-class urban area. This shows the attention of the Party, government, Fatherland Front and local socio-political organizations, Binh Chanh district, agencies, businesses and philanthropists.
