From the case of impersonating a police officer to rob property, clarifying the group storing drugs and military weapons
In the case, to get money to buy drugs, the twin brothers impersonated police officers to stop passersby, used electric batons to threaten them, and used handcuffs to lock the victims' hands, then stole their motorbikes and phones.
Through the investigation agency's documents, at about 7:00 a.m. on August 31, the Tay Ho District Police Department received a criminal complaint from Mr. D.XH and KVH, both residing in Dan Phuong District, Hanoi City, regarding: At about 3:50 a.m. on the same day, when the two men were riding a motorbike to 657 Lac Long Quan, Xuan La Ward, Tay Ho District, they were threatened by two young men impersonating police officers using electric batons and handcuffs to lock the two men's hands, then robbed them of one motorbike and two phones.
Given the seriousness of the case, Tay Ho District Police urgently deployed professional measures to verify, investigate, clarify, and arrest the perpetrator, Nguyen Van Thuc (born in 1995), with 4 previous convictions, residing in Phung town, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi.

At the police station, Nguyen Van Thuc confessed that he and his twin brother Nguyen Van Chi (born in 1995, has 2 previous convictions, currently on the run) committed a robbery by impersonating a police officer in the early morning of August 31 with the purpose of having money to buy drugs for use.

Expanding the investigation of the case, on September 1, the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ho District arrested 3 more subjects who are friends of Nguyen Van Thuc, including: Dang Tran Thuong (born in 1988), residing in group 19, Thinh Liet ward, Hoang Mai; Quang Thi Thu Ha (born in 1995), residing in Ba Don ward, Ba Don town, Quang Binh and Nguyen Thi Thien Thoi (born in 1997), residing in Hai Thanh ward, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province for the acts of storing military weapons, organizing illegal use of narcotics and illegally storing narcotics.

The police seized a large quantity of drugs and military weapons, including: 1 homemade revolver gun, 22 bullets, 1 grenade, 80.842 grams of MDMA, 0.394 grams of Ketamine, 0.778 grams of Methamphetamine and many other related drug paraphernalia.
Up to now, the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ho District has issued decisions to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused: Nguyen Van Thuc, Dang Tran Thuong, Quang Thi Thu Ha and Nguyen Thi Thien Thoi for the above acts; at the same time, requested Nguyen Van Chi to surrender to enjoy leniency under the law.
