On September 12, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 2842/QD.UBND Decision approving the inspection results of the 2022 Interdisciplinary Inspection Team on the inspection of investment projects in Nghe An province (phase 2).
The above Decision approves the results of the second round of inspection by the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team according to Decision No. 3088/QD-UBND dated October 10, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee, with the following main contents:
Terminate operations and cancel relevant legal documents for 7 projects:
Kids House International Kindergarten Project, invested by Tuoi Tho Education and Entertainment Investment Company Limited. Location: Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City;
Project to expand the factory of precast concrete components and prestressed concrete products, invested by Hoa Hiep Company Limited. Location: Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district;
Construction material business facility project invested by Han Chau Investment, Service & Trading Joint Stock Company. Location: Dien Phuc commune, Dien Chau district;
Restaurant and hotel project, invested by Phu Ha An Company Limited. Location: Dong Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town;
Project of Original Gold Ore Production and Processing Factory, by A Cuong Minerals Group Joint Stock Company and Do Linh Joint Stock Company. Implementation location: Chau Hanh commune, Quy Chau district;
Pilot Investment Project for Small-scale Domestic Waste Treatment Plant, invested by T-tech Vietnam Technology Group Joint Stock Company. Implementation location: Chau Hoi commune, Quy Chau district;
Roofing tile factory (high-tech fired clay), invested by An Trach Son Company Limited. Location: Thuong Son Industrial Park, Do Luong District.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Planning and Investment to: Carry out procedures for terminating project activities, revoking investment certificates/investment registration certificates (if any) in accordance with the provisions of law; Contact and notify investors about the termination of activities, cancellation of relevant legal documents for projects; notify on the electronic information pages of the Department of Planning and Investment and the province. The Department of Planning and Investment shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance, the District People's Committees and relevant agencies, advise and handle projects that have deposited funds to ensure project implementation in accordance with the provisions of law.
Assign the Departments of Planning and Investment, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, Finance and related localities according to their functions and tasks to advise the Provincial People's Committee on procedures for handling other related issues in accordance with current regulations.
In addition, the People's Committee of Nghe An province also requested investors to cease all activities related to the project according to current regulations; take full responsibility for the costs incurred (if any) related to the project.
Specifically: Department of Planning and Investment: Contact and notify relevant Investors about the contents of this Decision; Perform the assigned tasks in this Decision; Strengthen the implementation of state management functions and tasks in assigned sectors and fields according to regulations.
