Regarding the inadequacies in traffic safety at the intersection of the North-South Expressway Project with National Highway 7C, in Nghi Loc district, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee issued Official Dispatch 179/ATGT dated July 26, 2023 on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic order and safety on the North-South Expressway Construction Project intersecting with national highways and provincial roads in operation.
In particular, the Traffic Safety Committee of Nghe An province has proposed that Management Board 6 - Ministry of Transport coordinate with local authorities and functional units in the area to direct construction contractors to implement measures to ensure traffic order and safety, as well as to correct violations according to regulations; direct and urge contractors to speed up the construction progress of the overpass to soon facilitate people and vehicles participating in traffic, serving the socio-economic development of Nghi Loc in particular and localities in the province in general.
