The Department of Education and Training has just issued guidelines on the collection of tuition fees for public preschool and primary/secondary education institutions for the 2023-2024 school year.
Accordingly, during this school year, public preschool and primary/secondary schools that are not yet self-sufficient in covering their operating expenses will temporarily collect tuition fees for the 2023-2024 school year, as in the 2021-2022 school year, as stipulated by the Provincial People's Council.

Accordingly, tuition fees will be divided into four zones, varying depending on the region and educational level. Specifically, preschool fees will range from 45,000 VND to 280,000 VND, lower secondary school fees from 35,000 VND to 130,000 VND, and upper secondary and vocational high school fees from 45,000 VND to 230,000 VND.
According to the guidelines of the Department of Education and Training, schools organize the collection of tuition fees on a monthly basis.
Specifically, for students whose permanent residence is within Nghe An province: The fee will be collected based on the region where the student's permanent residence is located.tuitionaccording to the revenue level of that region as stipulated in the Provincial People's Council Resolution.

For students whose permanent residence is outside of Nghe An province, but whose temporary residence is within Nghe An province: Tuition fees will be collected according to the rates of the region where the student temporarily resides, as stipulated in the Provincial People's Council Resolution.
This year, the Department of Education and Training also requires 100% of educational institutions in the province to strictly implement cashless payment for tuition fees as stipulated in Decision No. 06/QD-TTg dated January 6, 2022, of the Prime Minister approving the Project on Developing the Application of Population Data, Identification and Electronic Authentication to Serve the National Digital Transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030, and other related documents.
