(Baonghean.vn) - On September 22, Nghe An Newspaper coordinated with Team Bach Ma (under the Vietnam Off-Road Pickup Club) and Tri Le Border Post to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival and give gifts to preschool and primary school students in the Mong Huoi Moi village, Tri Le commune (Que Phong district).

As a newly merged school, the facilities are not yet complete, the teachers and students at Huoi Moi Kindergarten still lack many things. The thing that the teachers here worry about the most is that the students do not have a kitchen and lack many facilities and essential learning materials.

Sharing those difficulties, Nghe An Newspaper has connected with Team Bach Ma (under the Vietnam Off-Road Pickup Club) and sponsors to complete the kitchen and give away many learning tools and toys to students at Huoi Moi Kindergarten. Nghe An Newspaper has also coordinated with Team Bach Ma and Tri Le Border Guard Station to complete a 400m solar road to light up the space around the school, ensuring security in the area. The total value of the gifts is about 30 million VND.

After giving gifts at the kindergarten, the volunteer group also organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program and broke the cake for the kindergarten and primary school students in the Huoi Moi border village. The children were really excited and delighted to carry star lanterns for the first time, meet Hang and Cuoi, and play folk games on the occasion of the family reunion festival.

Huoi Moi Village (Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District) is located on the Pha Ca Tun range, about 1,500m above sea level, and is home to the Mong people. About 10km from Tri Le center, Huoi Moi school is located in the border area with Laos, making travel difficult, especially during the rainy season. In the 2023-2024 school year, Huoi Moi Kindergarten has 68 students, while the primary school has 58 students, 100% of whom are Mong.
