Ban Coc Hydropower Plant releases reservoir water at 10:30 p.m. tonight (September 26)
(Baonghean.vn) - Que Phong Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans to discharge water from Ban Coc Hydropower Reservoir due to the increasing flow into the reservoir.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense has just received Notice No. 01.9/2023/TB-TDBC dated September 26, 2023 of Que Phong Hydropower Joint Stock Company on the operation of discharging water from Ban Coc Hydropower Reservoir due to the increasing flow to the reservoir.
To ensure the safe operation of water discharge from Ban Coc Hydropower Reservoir in accordance with the procedures approved by the Provincial People's Committee and in accordance with the hydrological situation at the project, Que Phong Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans to discharge water from Ban Coc Hydropower Reservoir as follows:
Estimated discharge time: 22:30 on September 26, 2023.
Total discharge from 11.16m3/s - 150m3/s (Including discharge flow through valve gate, flow through spillway and power generation flow through generators).
Discharge end time: Until the end of the flood season.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense informs: Que Phong District People's Committee; Heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors to inform authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the area downstream of Ban Coc Hydropower Plant to carry out necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and people.
