19-year-old vocal instructor expected to be 'Vietnam Idol 2023' Champion

With a confident performance style and a powerful voice, vocal instructor Nguyen Ha Minh is one of the contestants who has maintained the best form throughout the rounds, and is expected by many audiences to become the Champion of "Vietnam Idol 2023".
Nguyen Ha Minh is a prominent face in the top 8 of Vietnam Idol 2023. Possessing a highly appreciated voice, above all, the female singer shows confidence, acting ability and creativity to express herself as a new music idol.Ha Minh shared that she had dreamed of becoming a singer since she was a child. She participated in The Voice Kids 2015 and reached the semi-finals. In 2018, Ha Minh passed the entrance exam to Hanoi College of Arts to study vocal music. She regularly participates in many art and music programs, including some programs of Vietnam Television such as: 'Hoa ca', 'Giai melodies'... Ha Minh also teaches children at an art center. She is grateful that her parents are strict and set principles that help her study well and be calmer at the age of 19.When Ha Minh was a contestant on "The Voice Kids 2015", her studies were failing, causing her parents to not want her to continue pursuing her passion. After a period of time to regain her form, she convinced her family to let her take the entrance exam to an art school.
In July, Ha Minh performed the hit song "Giua Dai Lo Dong Tay" by musician Hua Kim Tuyen, causing the strict judges such as director Quang Dung, singer My Tam, musician Huy Tuan to unanimously praise her and award her a golden ticket to go straight to the theater competition. The audience commented that Ha Minh's voice has a unique color, multi-style, expressing the excitement, innocence, and brightness of youth as well as deep, lyrical emotions.Sharing about her successes on the 'Vietnam Idol 2023' stage, the 19-year-old singer said: "At first, I was afraid that I would not fit the color of the competition, but after learning the criteria, I decided to participate. Through each round, I always try to choose songs that are technically difficult, but can freely express my emotions and personality."
The 19-year-old singer said that being highly appreciated by the judges and the audience at Vietnam Idol 2023 put her under pressure. This is a long game and winning is not easy. However, Ha Minh always considers the comments of the judges and the audience as motivation for her to believe in herself and try harder in the upcoming journey.Through the rounds, Ha Minh gradually shaped her musical style. The singer born in 2004 said that before, she was used to singing ballads and pop, but recently experimented with fast-paced genres... In the 4th live show, Ha Minh was praised for her powerful voice and attractive performance ability. With the performance "Tomorrow", Ha Minh was commented by judge Huy Tuan that she always maintained her form and improved with each round.
