The delegation of the Mass Mobilization Bloc, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations of Nghe An province visited and presented gifts in Do Luong
(Baonghean.vn) - This is a joint activity of the Mass Mobilization bloc, the Front, and provincial-level socio-political organizations on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the Party's tradition of Mass Mobilization work (October 15, 1930 - October 15, 2023).
On the afternoon of October 6, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and provincial-level socio-political organizations led by comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission visited and presented gifts to units in Do Luong district.
Also in the delegation were comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, Le Van Luong - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Farmers' Association, Provincial Women's Union, and Provincial Veterans' Association.
The delegation visited and presented gifts at the Do Luong Humanitarian Center in Luu Son Commune (Do Luong District), which is currently taking care of 58 orphans, abandoned children and 3 homeless elderly people.
The center also provides vocational training and job search assistance to many young people from disadvantaged families (disabled children, orphans, children of policy families); free vocational training for young people from policy families and poor households. On the occasion of visiting the center, the delegation donated 10 million VND and gifts to orphans being raised here.
At Nghe An Social Protection Center, Giang Son Dong Commune (Do Luong District), the Working Group also presented 10 million VND and hundreds of gifts to 167 beneficiaries, mainly those who are lonely and have no relatives...
The gifts and materials that the delegation presented were the care and sharing of officials and civil servants of agencies in the provincial Mass Mobilization bloc towards disadvantaged and vulnerable people in society.
Next, the delegation visited Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, a school with a long tradition in education, training generations of quality students for the district and province and presented the school with 50 million VND, sponsored by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Vinh branch, to equip the school with a computer system to serve teaching and learning.
Recognizing the school's contributions to education, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee hopes that the teachers will continue to promote their achievements in the coming time.
On this occasion, the delegation visited agricultural and eco-tourism models in Do Luong district.
