More than 1,000 works participated in the 12th 'Golden Moment' photojournalism and video clip contest of Nghe An Newspaper
(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the Organizing Committee, by 10:00 a.m. on October 20, there were more than 1,000 works in the categories of single photos, photo series, photo reports and clips registered to participate in the 12th "Golden Moment" photojournalism and video clip contest of Nghe An Newspaper.
On the morning of October 20, the Organizing Committee of the 12th "Golden Moment" Press Photo Contest and Video Clip Contest - 2023 reviewed the number of works and authors participating in the contest; at the same time, deployed the final round judging content and award ceremony.
After the Organizing Committee reviewed and eliminated some invalid works because they violated the contest's regulations, such as works not from Nghe An or clips exceeding 5 minutes in length...
According to the regulations, at 5:00 p.m. on October 20, the Organizing Committee of the contest will stop accepting entries.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Hung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the "Golden Moment" Press Photo Contest and Video Clips, said that the number of participating works was quite large, vividly reflecting political, economic - social events, environmental and climate developments in Nghe An in recent times. Therefore, the Organizing Committee hopes that this year's contest will select and honor many excellent photo works of reporters, collaborators and photographers inside and outside the province. In addition, the increasingly thoughtful and professional organization will contribute to the growing stature of the contest.
The "Golden Moment" photo contest and video clip is a traditional contest organized by Nghe An Newspaper to record events, images, and important moments about life, work, production, and development of Nghe An province - the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho.
The contest is open to all journalists, reporters, artists, collaborators and those who love photojournalism. The contest is not limited to nationality, age and does not distinguish between professionals and amateurs.
Rules of the photo and video clip contest "Golden Moment" Nghe An Newspaper 2023
I. Contest conditions
1- For press photos:
- Photos capture the most beautiful moments of all activities of Nghe An country and people, with content suitable to Vietnamese culture, traditions and customs.
- Contest photos sent to Nghe An Newspaper Editorial Office as digital photo files in JPEG format with a minimum capacity of 1 MB or more.
- Photos must be at least 1,920 pixels in size, at least 300 dpi in resolution, jpg compression, or larger than 1.MB.
- Photos using composite techniques are not accepted (except for adjusting brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color balance).
- Contest photos: Single photo or photo series - photo reportage (no more than 10 photos per reportage).
- There is no limit to the number of photos or the number of submissions per author.
- Contest photos must be accompanied by:
+ Name of work
+ Author's real name, address, phone number, email.
+ Photos must have clear captions, photo content, time and place of shooting.
2- For clips:
- About duration: No more than 5 minutes.
- Topics: Reflections on the fields: Politics, economics, culture, society, security - defense, other life issues...
- Presentation format: Clip can be narrated or not; short text about the content conveyed; use on-site sounds or background music.
- The work must show the title and author at the beginning.
- Entries must be accompanied by a text commentary (if any).
- Authors whose works are submitted must ensure that the images and music of their works do not violate copyright.
- There is no limit to the number of entries per author.
II. How to submit entries
All entries must be submitted between November 9, 2022 and October 20, 2023. Qualified entries will be published on Nghe An Newspaper, baonghean.vn and Nghe An Newspaper YouTube channel (royalties will be paid according to regulations).
