Nghe An College of Culture and Arts opens new school year
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 22, Nghe An College of Culture and Arts held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2023 - 2024.
College of Culture and ArtsNghe An is currently organizing training in 18 regular college and intermediate majors and occupations; 8 regular college transfer majors and occupations; 5 university-linked majors and occupations and organizing certificate training in over 15 majors and occupations in the fields of arts and tourism. Through initial surveys, most graduates have jobs in their field of expertise and are well received by society.

In recent years, in order to improve the quality of training, the school has continued to modernize the organization and management of training, applying science and technology in management, teaching and learning. Scientific research has achieved many outstanding results. The teaching staff constantly studies and improves their qualifications to ensure quality and quantity, meeting the increasing demands of society.
The school has completed the self-assessment of 9 training programs, meeting the standards and criteria. Self-assessed the quality of vocational education institutions, built and put into operation 50 quality assurance processes and tools, and prepared all conditions for external assessment of vocational education institutions by 2024.
The school has also actively participated in cultural and artistic movements of the industry, the province and other social activities.

The 2023-2024 school year marks the school's remarkable development in enrollment and training, with enrollment results reaching 400/320 assigned targets (125%). Thereby, continuing to affirm the position and role of a unique school in the university and college education system and making many important contributions to the career of vocational education in the province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Ho Thi Chau Loan congratulated and acknowledged the efforts of the school during the past school year.

The leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs also said that the College of Culture and Arts is a special school, both teaching and performing arts. Therefore, entering the 2023-2024 school year, the school needs to soon develop appropriate and appropriate activity programs to effectively implement the key tasks of the industry and the province, especially Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045 and Directive No. 21 on continuing to innovate, develop and improve the quality of vocational education.

Schools also need to pay attention to training and fostering teachers, vocational trainers, and experts for key industries and occupations, improving the capacity of teachers and managers in a modern, high-quality direction, approaching the standards of advanced countries, especially teachers specializing in art, considering this the key to improving the quality of teaching and learning. In addition, there needs to be specific solutions to quickly approach the problems of the country and the industry in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution. At the same time, it is necessary to preserve and promote traditional values; it is necessary to pay attention to expanding training links, doing well in scientific research, and combining the application of information technology in teaching and management.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to Mr. Le Vu Anh - Principal of the school.

The Provincial People's Committee also awarded the title "Excellent Labor Collective" to the School's Center for Admissions, Training and Fostering of Artistic Talents; and awarded a Certificate of Merit to Mr. Le Van Hai - Director of the Center for his outstanding achievements in work.
Many other individuals of the school were also awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation.
