The sons and daughters of the late People's Artist Hoang Dung, comedian Van Dung and People's Artist Tran Nhuong all impressed the audience with their acting ability.

Following the veteran cast that is already familiar with Vietnamese television dramas, the young faces - the generation of "family-bred" actors - appearing on VTV recently have received much praise from the audience.

Son of artist Van Dung

One of the memorable roles in prime time dramasWar Without Bordersis the character of a rich young man played by comedian Van Dung's son.

In the film, Nguyen Long Vu (born 2001) plays Cuong, a rebellious, unruly young man who always relies on his family background to bully weaker people.

Thanks to his natural and charming acting, he surprised the audience when he successfully recreated the "wife-stealing" custom that still exists in many remote areas.

He shared with reporters: "The only real-life material I put into this character is my youthful energy and enthusiasm. I also added liveliness, wit and innocence because I have more or less experienced that kind of childhood myself.

To create the rest of the character Cuong, I had to rely on movies and my observation and learning from the people in the village up here."

In addition, Long Vu also played a small role inDon't be afraid to get married just for one reasonis being shown simultaneously on VTV3.

Son of the late People's Artist Hoang Dung

In addition to Long Vu, the son of the late People's Artist Hoang Dung also appeared in the film.War Without BordersThis is the second TV series that Hoang Trieu Duong (born 1999) participated in afterStreet in the village(airing 2022) as a district police officer.

The character he plays in the film is a marine soldier, with a gentle and calm personality and often stands in the middle of conflicts between his best friend. However, Hoang has a snoring problem, sometimes disturbing the teammates around him.

Trieu Duong revealed that this character is similar to him in real life in his cheerful and sociable personality. The biggest difficulty he had to go through was physical problems in the early days of filming.

Because the special forces soldiers and real naval combatants are very strong, when filming together, the actors in the film had to take time to get in sync with them. The young actor himself lost about 1-2 kg during filming, and his skin was sunburned after many days at the beach.

He frankly shared: "I really don't have much pressure because my father is a veteran artist. I'm filled with more pride than pressure. That's also an advantage compared to many others, so I just act comfortably. Above all, I still need the favor of the TV audience."

Daughter of People's Artist Tran Nhuong

Jenna Anh Phuong (real name Tran Hoang Anh Phuong, born in 1996) is known as the daughter of People's Artist Tran Nhuong and the half-sister of director and actor Tran Binh Trong.

She once touched the television series through the character Duong 16 years old in the movieAre you a man?with a personality built as insolent, not respecting, not loving her father. Therefore, Anh Phuong was quite pressured when having to play the role of a girl much younger than her real age.

Besides, she also participated in many game shows such asMysterious Singer, Perfect Confession, True Loveor participateMissTourismVietnam Global.

With her father being the head of the CAND art troupe, the actress was exposed to art early on. She often watched and learned how to act from the troupes. Later, her father and brother took her to perform in commercials or programs.See you this weekend

However, Anh Phuong revealed: "With the title "daughter of People's Artist Tran Nhuong", I did not find it easy at all when entering the art field.

That's the hardest thing I want to get rid of because I'm trying so hard, starting from the smallest things, not asking for help from my dad, struggling to find a solution with friends who are in the same situation as me."
