Hot girl specializes in breaking into weddings to steal wedding money.
During the investigation, the suspect confessed to committing four thefts of wedding gift envelopes, totaling nearly 200 million VND.
The Criminal Investigation Agency of Dan Phuong District Police (Hanoi) announced on October 27th that they are temporarily detaining Hoang Khanh Linh (born in 2003), residing in Tho Xuan commune, Dan Phuong district, for investigation into the crime of "theft of property".
Earlier, at around 1:30 PM on October 25th, Linh rode her motorbike from her home to Cluster 3, Lien Trung Commune, Dan Phuong District, where she saw Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lu's family holding a wedding for her son. Due to a lack of money, Linh mingled with the wedding guests to steal property.
The subject is Hoang Khanh Linh.
After entering Ms. Lu's house, the suspect went straight upstairs to the second floor, into the bedroom, and used his hands to pry open the wardrobe door, taking a stack of wedding gift envelopes and putting them into his black handbag. While the suspect was committing the theft, Ms. Lu entered the room. Realizing Linh was a stranger, Ms. Lu asked him to go downstairs. Fearing discovery, Linh told Ms. Lu he needed to use the restroom. Inside the restroom, Linh hid all the stolen envelopes in a laundry basket… After the suspect left the restroom, Ms. Lu checked and found the stolen envelopes in the laundry basket, so she reported it to the police.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Lien Trung commune police, in coordination with the local people, arrested Linh for theft. The seized evidence included 51 wedding gift envelopes containing over 19 million VND.
During the investigation, Linh confessed to committing four other thefts of wedding gift envelopes in Tan Hoi, Ha Mo, and Thuong Mo communes of Dan Phuong district; and Trach My Loc commune of Phuc Tho district, totaling nearly 200 million VND.
The district police are currently continuing their investigation and will handle the case according to regulations.
