Providing support to build 200 gratitude houses for poor households in Yen Thanh district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 30, Yen Thanh District People's Committee coordinated with Gelex Group Joint Stock Company to organize a ceremony to present money to support the construction of gratitude houses in Yen Thanh District.
Responding to the campaign to support the construction and repair of houses for poor households and people with housing difficulties in Yen Thanh district in the period of 2023-2025, Gelex Group Joint Stock Company has supported 10 billion VND to build and repair houses for 200 households with housing difficulties in Yen Thanh district. Of which, in 2023, it is expected to build 120 houses and in 2024, 80 houses will be completed, each house will be supported with 50 million VND to build new houses.
The beneficiaries are households with severely damaged or degraded houses approved by the decision of the Steering Committee of the Program to mobilize support, build and repair houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in Yen Thanh district.
The timely support for housing construction for households has created conditions for poor households, near-poor households, and households with housing difficulties to have solid houses, reduce difficulties, stabilize and improve their lives, gradually rise up to escape poverty sustainably, contributing to ensuring social security in the district./.
