(Baonghean.vn) - 420 union members whose working hours were reduced and their labor contracts were terminated due to businesses cutting orders in Yen Thanh district have received support money from the Provincial Labor Federation.
On the afternoon of November 7, the delegation of Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized a support presentation forunion memberreduced working hours, terminated labor contracts of Yen Thanh District Labor Federation. Comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation led the delegation.
The union members receiving support on this occasion are 420 people whose working hours have been reduced or whose labor contracts have been terminated between October 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023, belonging to An Hung Group Joint Stock Company. The union members are supported with cash of 1 million VND/person, with a total support amount of 420 million VND. The funding source is drawn from the budget of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor.
Previously, through statistical surveys and compilation of records of grassroots unions, the Provincial Federation of Labor has appraised the list of union members and workers eligible for support due to reduced working hours because the company has reduced orders. The number of workers approved and supported is 1,278, equivalent to VND 1,314.7 billion for workers and laborers in the units of Nghia Dan, Do Luong, Vinh City, Quynh Luu, Thanh Chuong, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo Town, Dong Nam Economic Zone, Yen Thanh...
