Nghe An recognizes 687 excellent teachers at the provincial high school level in 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 13, the Department of Education and Training summarized the Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition for High School Level in 2023.
Attending the closing ceremony were comrades: Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee - Director of the Department of Education and Training, Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation.
Contestgood teacherIn 2023, the provincial high school exam has 706 teachers taking the exam in 14 subjects from 78 high schools and 15 vocational education and continuing education centers in the whole province.
The Department of Education and Training has mobilized 313 judges who are excellent teachers who have made outstanding contributions to the industry over the years. In addition to performing the task of evaluating the contestants' performances, the judges, depending on their positions, have helped the organizing committee spread the spirit and professional activities of the Contest to schools, professional groups and teachers.

According to the organizers' assessment, in the section presenting measures to improve the quality of teaching, many quality reports addressed necessary issues for teaching and developing students' qualities and abilities in each subject.
Notably, teachers have delved into key issues in implementing the 2018 general education program based on the characteristics of the local situation and the school where the teachers are working. As a result, 694 teachers passed the test of reporting measures to improve teaching quality, equivalent to 98.3% of the total number of teachers registered for the test.

In the Teaching Practice ExamThere were 694 teachers taking the practical exam and 687 teachers passed, equivalent to nearly 97.3% of the teachers who registered for the exam. Of these, 625 teachers were evaluated by all 3 judges as having excellent teaching sessions. The practical lessons showed that the teaching plans, tools and equipment were carefully prepared by the teachers, suitable for the lesson objectives, students and the requirements of educational innovation.
The use of information technology and teaching equipment is used by teachers skillfully and effectively. In organizing activities for students, teachers choose many appropriate forms and methods in assigning learning tasks, promptly observing and detecting students' difficulties in learning, and organizing students to present their learning products.

At the closing ceremony, the Department of Education and Training recognized 687 teachers with the title of "Excellent Provincial Teachers in 2023". At the same time, there was a decision to reward 11 collectives with outstanding achievements and positive contributions to the competition.
Besides,The Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 teachers with the best results in each exam subject.


In addition, the Department of Education and Training and the Education Trade Union have decided to reward 101 teachers for their high achievements and spirit of overcoming difficulties in teaching and in the competition.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh congratulated the teachers who had completed the exam. The department's leaders also praised the teachers from mountainous districts and teachers in non-public schools who had made efforts and overcome difficulties to have a successful exam season.

The contest has created a profound and practical professional activity among teachers in schools and has had a widespread influence throughout the industry at many levels.
The results of the competition are the basis for assessing the current status of the team, thereby developing a training and development plan to improve professional qualifications, meet the requirements of innovation and successfully implement the 2018 General Education Program at the high school level in Nghe An.

After the contest, the head of the education sector also requested that schools and units organize assessments, draw lessons, find effective solutions in building and training teachers as well as improving the quality of education in their units, and actively prepare all aspects so that the next contest will achieve higher and more comprehensive results.
