Về dự và chung vui với cán bộ và nhân dân khu dân cư Tân Quang có đồng chí Trương Thiết Hùng - Phó Chủ tịch Ủy ban MTTQ tỉnh Nghệ An cùng lãnh đạo huyện Nghĩa Đàn.

Tan Quang residential area, Nghia Hung commune has 200 households with 765 people; of which Thai ethnic people account for over 70% and are distributed in 4 self-governing inter-family groups. Promoting local advantages, along with timely grasping of policies and guidelines from all levels, the socio-economic situation in the residential area has developed significantly, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved.

In 2003, from a hamlet with a poverty rate of over 70% and many backward customs, Tan Quang hamlet has now achieved the title of Cultural Village, the poverty rate is only under 10%, the average income per capita is nearly 30 million VND/year; the natural environment is green, clean, beautiful, the social environment is healthier, social security is taken care of; the village and neighborhood relationship is close, united, loving, helping each other, the number of well-off and rich households is increasing; regulations on weddings, funerals, and festivals are well implemented; social order and safety, traffic safety are ensured; the quality of activities of Party committees, Party cells, and socio-political organizations in residential areas is improved.

Joining the Great Unity Day in Tan Quang residential area, comrade Truong Thiet Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee congratulated the outstanding results that Tan Quang cadres and people have achieved in the past time.

The entire population participates in the movement to prevent crime, social evils, and protect national security; participates in reconciling internal conflicts. Promotes and preserves traditions and cultural lifestyles, effectively implements the criteria for building cultural families and cultural villages; and a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, festivals, and the organization of cultural, artistic, and sports activities...
