Outstanding young teachers and lecturers in Nghe An province in 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - This year, Nghe An has 30 teachers winning the "Outstanding Young Teachers and Lecturers" award at the provincial level in 2023. They are not only bright spots in their professional work but also dedicated companions, ready to share and support students in their comprehensive development.
Silently supporting students
With her emotional voice and natural, captivating performance, at the "Folk Singing in Schools" Contest in Nghe An province held last May, the young student Quang Thi Bao An from Chau Cuong Primary School (Quy Hop District) left many beautiful impressions in the hearts of the audience. Few people know that behind that excellent performance was a process in which An was accompanied by teacher Luong Thi Thin (born in 1988) to practice and guide each verse.
Ms. Thin and I performed on stage two pieces, including the Thai folk song “Theo lời Bác Giáo” (According to Uncle Ho’s teachings) and the Tho folk song “Moon Invitation”. These two pieces won the A prize at the end of the contest, contributing to the achievements of the primary school students from Quy Hop district.
That is just one of the many memories that Ms. Luong Thi Thin - music teacher, Head of the Team of Chau Cuong Primary School (Quy Hop district) has experienced in her 13-year journey of being attached to the teaching profession. She said that since 2010, she started working at Chau Ly 2 Primary School, until the end of 2021, she transferred to Chau Cuong Primary School. These are two schools located in a difficult area of Quy Hop district with the majority of the population being Thai ethnic people. She herself is also a child of the Thai ethnic group, so being attached to and inspiring the love for music as well as Team activities in the hearts of students is truly a journey filled with joy.
Many shy students, when inspired, have "shined" in many elementary school programs and competitions at school, district and provincial levels. As for Ms. Luong Thi Thin, she was recently honored to be one of 15 Team Leaders to receive a certificate of merit from the Central Youth Union at the Kim Dong Training Camp in 2023; and one of 30 teachers to be commended by the Education Trade Union for their outstanding achievements in the 2022 Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition, along with many certificates of merit at all levels. This is a valuable recognition for her to continue to contribute on the path she has chosen.
Along with a team of teachers with extensive experience and working time in the profession, many teachers in charge of the Youth Union, although still very young, have quickly affirmed their capacity and enthusiasm for work. Typical among them is Ms. Pham Thi Lan -The teacher in charge of the To Ba Ngoc Primary School Team (Minh Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District) is also one of the teachers loved by many colleagues and students.
Born in 1994, Ms. Pham Thi Lan has been working as a teacher in charge of the Youth Union since 2017. Over the past 6 years, she has always proactively advised the school's Board of Directors to build many practical and effective movements and models of Youth Union members. Thanks to that, the Youth Union work and youth movement of To Ba Ngoc Primary School have always achieved many high awards and have been evaluated as a strong Youth Union of Yen Thanh district in recent times.
Ms. Pham Thi Lan was personally awarded the "Excellent Leader" badge at the Central level and the 7th National Advanced Youth Badge following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2023 by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. She is also an individual who received many certificates of merit from the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union for "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".
The enthusiasm of the students is a great source of motivation and fosters my love for the profession. The innocent smiles on the students' faces and their confidence when participating in cultural activities are sources of energy for me to make more efforts in my work. I always hope that every day at school is a happy day for the students, and that the children will be able to cultivate more life skills, especially self-confidence.
This year, Nghe An province has 10 outstanding teachers and leaders of the Youth Union who have been commended and awarded by the Provincial Youth Union. They are not only teachers but also companions loved by their students.
For junior high schools, high schools and vocational education centers - continuing education centers in the province, there are 10 typical examples that were honored by the Provincial Youth Union this time. There are teachers in mountainous areas but have many outstanding achievements such as Ms. Phung Thi Hoa (born in 1992) - teacher at Chau Binh Secondary School, Quy Chau district; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (born in 1988) - teacher at Le Loi High School, Tan Ky district...
In addition to doing well in professional work, many teachers in the above-mentioned grades have also achieved many impressive personal achievements. For example, Mr. Ho Xuan Tho (1992) - Quynh Thien Secondary School, Hoang Mai Town had an initiative and experience on "Measures to prevent drowning accidents for students" which is very useful for coastal localities. This initiative won prizes at school and town levels. In addition, he also won a Gold Medal in the 50m freestyle swimming event at the 9th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival and actively participated in gratitude programs, supporting poor students in mountainous areas of the province.
A solid foundation for students
The moment standing on the podium of glory to receive the Certificate of Merit for winning the Second Prize in the Startup Kite Nghe An 2022 startup competition, ethnic minority student Vu Thi Thu Hien (Office Informatics Intermediate Class K15, Vietnam - Germany College) always remembers the companionship and dedicated guidance of teacher Nguyen Hong Phuc.has been for me. Understanding the difficult circumstances of Hien's family, Mr. Phuc has always encouraged and helped her to have a solid support throughout the semesters; helping her maintain high achievements when she has received scholarships for 4 consecutive semesters.
For many years, Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuc (born in 1997) - a lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Secretary of the Union of Mechanical Engineering - Construction - Basic Science of Vietnam - Germany College has been considered a "good midwife" when it comes to finding opportunities for students to participate in important competitions.
From his own experience of having won high prizes such as First Prize in the 7th National Self-Made Vocational Training Equipment Competition in 2022, First Prize in the Nghe An Province Vocational Training Equipment Competition in 2022; Potential Project Award and Investment Commitment Certificate for having an excellent startup project at the final round of the Techfesh Open Nghe An 2023 competition..., Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuc has truly spread his passion for learning and scientific research to students.
Mr. Phuc is also the leader of many student volunteer movements of the school to the difficult villages of the province. Through participating in volunteer projects, students not only learn knowledge from books but also experience real life, understand more deeply about their responsibilities to the community and society.
Along with Mr. Phuc, many other outstanding lecturers such as: Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Institute of Environmental Biochemistry Technology, Vinh University; Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Economics - Business Administration, Nghe An University of Economics; Mr. Dao Tat Tham - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Vinh University of Technical Education... are also excellent lecturers recognized by the Provincial Youth Union this time. They are all individuals who have achieved many achievements in the process of teaching, supporting students, and implementing volunteer activities.
These instructors not only impart knowledge, but also create a positive learning and personal development environment, laying the foundation for the holistic development of students.
