"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the US Embassy have agreed on expanding monitoring of the use of end-use weapons, including regular inventories, joint physical inspections with partners and special inspections," a statement posted on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said.

According to Ria Novosti, some types of missiles, launchers, drones and night vision equipment transferred by US partners need to be carefully monitored and have special storage conditions.

The joint agreement between the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the US Embassy stems from the message that, from now on, monitoring is essential for the calculation and compliance with appropriate storage conditions, which is carried out by the US Department of Defense together with foreign partners.

Also related to defense, according to RT, members of the Pentagon's Defense Policy Council will hold closed meetings on December 5 and 6 to discuss US strategy toward Russia.

The closed-door meeting will focus on the collection, analysis and assessment of classified information. The outcome of the process will be to provide recommendations to the Pentagon on strategic planning and implementation of current strategy at the global and regional levels.

The meeting will include secret meetings on “the threat posed by Russia until 2050”. In addition, data collected on Moscow’s activities during the special military operation will also be discussed.

Previously, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that the country should maintain dialogue with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
