(Baonghean.vn) - On December 1st, the Thong Thu Border Guard Station completed the dossier and imposed an administrative fine of 4 million VND on Lo Thi Minh for violations in the fisheries sector.
Previously, on the night of November 30, 2023, while patrolling and inspecting the area around the Hua Na Hydropower Reservoir, in Muong Cat village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district, the Thong Thu Border Guard Post, Nghe An Border Guard Command, discovered Lo Thi Minh (born in 1990), residing in Na Ty village, Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district, illegally using an electric shock device to catch fish on the Chu River.
At the scene, the task force seized one black and white battery, one unbranded electric shock device, 40 meters of blue electric shock wire, and one fishing net.
The Thong Thu Border Guard Station issued a decision to impose an administrative fine on Lo Thi Minh in accordance with Clause 1, Article 28 of Government Decree No. 42/2019/ND-CP dated May 16, 2019, regulating administrative penalties in the field of fisheries, with a total fine of 4 million VND.
