Support 84 breeding buffaloes for poor households in border communes of Ky Son district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 1, Economic - Defense Group 4, Military Region 4 organized the donation of 84 breeding buffaloes to families in difficult circumstances in Nam Can and Na Ngoi communes, Ky Son district.
Accordingly, 84 households in difficult circumstances in the villages of Nam Can, Lien Son, Nam Can commune; Phu Quac 1, Phu Quac 2, Ka Tren, Tang Phan, Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district were supported by the delegation with 1 breeding buffalo each. In addition, poor households were also supported with 5 kg of minerals for livestock each.
This is an activity within the project chain of Military Region 4 supporting socio-economic development, the model of soldiers associated with ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Ky Son National Defense Economic Zone, Nghe An, in 2023; under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030.
This meaningful activity demonstrates the spirit and responsibility of military units stationed in the area towards the people in the border areas, creating livelihoods for households in difficult circumstances to develop the economy and escape poverty; thereby, contributing to political and social stability, strengthening national defense and security in the border areas.
