How to pay traffic fines online for administrative violations.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Traffic Police force is intensifying its efforts to disseminate information and guide citizens in carrying out administrative procedures on the National Public Service Portal (website www.dichvucong.gov.vn).

At registration and administrative penalty points, video clips will be shown to guide people through administrative procedures such as vehicle registration and paying administrative fines on the National Public Service Portal.

Accordingly, to pay fines for traffic violations, citizens need to follow these steps.

Step 1: Access the National Public Service Portal (https://dichvucong.gov.vn), select the menu in the upper right corner of the portal, select "Online Payment", then select "Pay administrative fines" (if you are a citizen or a business, select the corresponding column).

Step 2: Select "Look up traffic violation payments".

To search by decision code: Select "Traffic Police", enter the decision number, and enter the security code.

For lookup by violation report: Enter "Report number", enter "Full name of citizen/Business/Organization violating the regulation", select "Traffic Police", select "Province/City", select "Unit issuing the violation report", select "Date of violation", and enter the security code.

Selecting "Search" will display the following information: Decision number, date of decision, violation committed, and fine amount.

Choose the option "pay and receive results at the enforcement agency" or "pay and receive results at home" (for the option of paying and receiving results at home, the offender must have an account to access the National Public Service Portal).

Afterward, citizens receive their documents at home or at the agency that issued the penalty.
