Hoang Mai City Party Committee organizes collective and individual review of the Standing Committee
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 8, Hoang Mai City Party Committee held a conference to review the collective and individuals of the City Party Committee Standing Committee in 2023. Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command attended and directed the conference.
In 2023, the Standing Committee of Hoang Mai Town Party Committee focused on leading and directing the comprehensive, synchronous, drastic and effective implementation of socio-economic development goals, tasks and solutions. Economic growth remained high, ranking among the top 3 localities with the largest scale and growth rate in the province; economic growth rate is estimated at about 13.61%; average added value is estimated at 80.6 million VND/person/year, an increase of 4.06 million VND compared to 2022; the town's economic scale by production value is estimated at 24,788 billion VND, an increase of 13.95% compared to 2022; investment attraction achieved good results, especially attracting FDI projects. The investment environment has been improved, the district-level competitiveness index ranked 2nd out of 21 districts, cities and towns; 20 socio-economic targets have met and exceeded the set plan.
The program of new rural construction and urban development was implemented synchronously and achieved many comprehensive results; culture and society had many positive changes, the material and spiritual life of the people was improved; the quality of comprehensive education continued to be consolidated, during the year, 5 more schools were recognized as meeting national standards, bringing the total number of schools meeting standards to 33/40 schools, reaching 82.5%; the rate of cultural families reached 78.5%; national defense and security were ensured; the town was the first district-level unit to be recognized as a drug-free area, completing 100% of the military recruitment target in 2023, directing communes and wards to conduct combat drills in the defense area to ensure quality and safety...
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command praised the achievements of the Party Committee and people of Hoang Mai town in 2023. He emphasized and requested that in the coming time, the Standing Committee of Hoang Mai Town Party Committee needs to focus on directing and mobilizing the entire political system to develop the socio-economy, attract investment projects; continue to perform well the tasks of national defense and security; lead, direct and organize drills in the town's defense area to achieve the set goals and requirements; improve the quality of military recruitment and education and training in national defense and security knowledge for the subjects; improve the quality of education and training, build national standard schools, especially vocational training and job creation for local workers, medical examination and treatment, and health care for the people.
