Nghe An Otorhinolaryngology Association organizes the 3rd Open Scientific Conference in 2023

On the morning of December 9, Nghe An Otolaryngology Association organized the 3rd Nghe An Open Otolaryngology Conference in 2023.
Attending the conference were delegates: Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Phan Chung Thuy - President of the Vietnam Otolaryngology Association; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tuyet Xuong - President of the Vietnam Otolaryngology Association; representatives of leaders of central hospitals, medical and pharmaceutical universities; representatives of the Otolaryngology Associations of provinces and cities; hundreds of scientists and medical staff.
Speaking at the opening of the 3rd Nghe An Open Otolaryngology Conference, Dr. Tang Xuan Hai - Chairman of Nghe An Otolaryngology Association, Director of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital stated: Along with the development of Nghe An's health sector, in recent years, the Otolaryngology sector has achieved success, standing shoulder to shoulder with the ENT system of the whole country.
The province's ENT treatment facilities have constantly improved their techniques and treatment quality, grasped advanced treatment techniques and are striving to keep up with the development speed of the ENT industry domestically and internationally.

With the permission of the Provincial People's Committee, Nghe An Otorhinolaryngology Association was established in 2019, with nearly 200 members who are otorhinolaryngologists from medical facilities throughout the province. The Association is a voluntary professional social organization of those working in training, research, and practice in examination and treatment of diseases in the field of otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery in Nghe An.
Nghe An Otorhinolaryngology Association aims to gather and unite members, preserve and promote the tradition of medical ethics, connect, support, share experiences, update knowledge to improve the qualifications of doctors in the same specialty; promote scientific research, disseminate related medical issues, contribute to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese Otorhinolaryngology industry, and meet the medical examination and treatment needs of the people.
In the past, Nghe An Otolaryngology Association has organized 2 expanded specialized conferences; with the goal of connecting, sharing experiences, updating knowledge from leading experts; at the same time, contributing to enhancing the expertise of ENT doctors in Nghe An province. The conference has become one of the prestigious forums in the field of research and treatment of ENT diseases in Vietnam.
Following the success of the previous two conferences, within the framework of the third scientific conference, experts, leading doctors and otolaryngologists in the area reported on 12 scientific topics and a number of effective technology transfer models for treating otolaryngological diseases implemented in Nghe An and central hospitals.
At this conference, the Vietnam Association of Otolaryngology awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals of the Nghe An Association of Otolaryngology who have made many achievements in the association's work; presented a Commemorative Medal to Dr. Tang Xuan Hai, Specialist 2. The Vietnam Association of Otolaryngology and the Nghe An Association of Otolaryngology also held an introduction ceremony for the provisional Executive Committee of the Nghe An Association of Otolaryngology./.
