(Baonghean.vn) - On December 12, a working delegation from the Military Region 4 Command, the Department of Economics of the Ministry of National Defense and the Department of Economics of the Ministry of National Defense (Laos) inspected the search and collection of the remains of Vietnamese martyrs and experts who died in Laos during the 2023-2024 dry season.

2023,Martyrs' Remains Collection TeamThe Nghe An Provincial Military Command was assigned the task of searching for and gathering the graves of Vietnamese martyrs and experts who died in Laos in the three provinces of Xieng Khouang, Xay Xom Bun and Vientiane.

In the dry season of 2023 - 2024, the work of surveying, searching and collecting martyrs' remains will face many difficulties due to the harsh climate and weather. Martyrs' graves are mainly located in high mountains, caves, deep forests...

With the attention, leadership, direction and facilitation of the Steering Committee 515 at all levels and the Party Committees, authorities, armed forces and people of the three provinces of Xieng Khouang, Xay Xom Bun and Vientiane, the team's officers and employees have overcome difficulties and successfully completed their assigned tasks.

Up to now, after more than 2 months of surveying, searching, and collecting martyrs' remains in the 2023 - 2024 dry season, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command has searched for and collected 38 remains of Vietnamese martyrs and experts who died in Laos. Currently, the martyrs' remains are being brought by the Provincial Military Command's Martyrs' Remains Collection Team to be worshiped at the unit's barracks in Phon Xa Van town, Xieng Khouang province (Laos).

Concluding the inspection, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 and comrades in the working delegation acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the officers and staff of the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

The Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 requested that in the coming time, officers and employees continue to overcome difficulties and strictly comply with regulations on searching and collecting martyrs' remains. In the process of searching and establishing martyrs' grave records, it is necessary to be strict and follow the correct procedures, while at the same time doing a good job of mass mobilization, national defense diplomacy, and ensuring safety in all aspects during the performance of tasks. Closely coordinate with the Special Working Group of the Friends from the province to the grassroots to propagate and mobilize people to provide information; grasp, survey, and ensure accurate information sources to include in the search and collection plan in the coming time. /.
