(Baonghean.vn) - With the goal and educational philosophy of "Each student is a future leader", Newton inter-level school system constantly applies information technology, uses traditional and modern teaching methods to train generations of outstanding, confident, responsible students...

Open up and develop personal capacity
Always in the top of the "golden list" of achievements of the Ministry of Education and Training, Hanoi Department of Education and Training, after 15 years of formation and development, Newton inter-level school system (Newton) has become a home to nurture generations of talented students with modern educational philosophies and ideas.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Dung - Vice President of the Board of Directors of Newton Inter-level School System shared that the entire educational spirit of the school is summarized in the slogan: "Each student is a future leader". With enthusiasm and solid pedagogical skills, the teachers of Newton School System have trained generations of students who are confident, overcome difficulties, are exemplary, and always responsible for society, family and themselves.
One of the differences in Newton’s educational environment is the implementation of an interesting and engaging experiential learning method. “According to traditional educational methods, students will acquire knowledge by reading, copying, listening, watching, presenting… As for the experiential teaching method, students acquire knowledge through practice, projects, STEM, participating in competitions, outdoor activities, domestic and international summer camps…”, Ms. Le Thi Bich Dung said.

Through experiential activities, students will have a solid knowledge foundation, increase interest, initiative, and promote their creative potential. Students have many opportunities to access knowledge through many different senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, etc. This has contributed to increasing students' ability to remember, increasing necessary skills such as: information synthesis skills, analysis, communication skills, creativity, situation handling skills, etc.
Therefore, at Newton, it is not difficult for any parent to see a very different image of their children after joining this educational environment. These are students with profound knowledge but no less witty and confident in “Theatricalizing”; students with sharp opinions and arguments in debate competitions; students full of energy and determination in subjects and sports competitions…
Building a generation of outstanding students
In the context of many public schools with a long history and many private schools springing up to attract many students, Ms. Le Thi Bich Dung is still confident that the Newton inter-level school system will continue to be a bright spot in modern educational models and firmly step on the path of sustainable development.

The school is always at the forefront, predicting the abilities and qualities that future generations need to meet the scientific and technological revolution as well as the needs of international integration. That is the reason why the Newton inter-level school system is focusing on developing the three subjects of Mathematics, Information Technology and English throughout the 12 years of study. Teachers use advanced teaching methods for these subjects, combining the achievements and inventions of technology, thereby making students interested and easily receptive.
Not only 100% of teachers are proficient in applying information technology in teaching, Newton is also a pioneer in allowing all students to use tablets in class. With this method, students are "liberated" from the four walls, working with digital experts such as ChatGPT, Google, Bing... This contributes to providing students with a lot of open information, being proactive in learning, stimulating the ability to explore and develop thinking. The tablet grading method contributes to freeing teachers from manual grading (because it takes time and effort), grading and correction are more accurate, more diverse with many questions. At the same time, parents also receive their children's results faster, closely grasping daily learning.

According to Ms. Le Thi Bich Dung, the school aims to improve students' information technology skills to become the foundation for all fields and careers they choose in the future. "When they finish grade 12, the students' level will be equivalent to that of second-year university students majoring in information technology, even if they do not study this major," she hopes.
In the future, Newton continues to aim for optimal methods to train generations of “global students” – excelling in information technology, foreign languages and leadership skills. The school also moves towards smart school management, creating a system that connects all parents, students, teachers and principals.
