One of the differences in Newton’s educational environment is the implementation of an interesting and engaging experiential learning method. “According to traditional educational methods, students will acquire knowledge by reading, copying, listening, watching, presenting… As for the experiential teaching method, students acquire knowledge through practice, projects, STEM, participating in competitions, outdoor activities, domestic and international summer camps…”, Ms. Le Thi Bich Dung said.

Through experiential activities, students will have a solid knowledge foundation, increase interest, initiative, and promote their creative potential. Students have many opportunities to access knowledge through many different senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, etc. This has contributed to increasing students' ability to remember, increasing necessary skills such as: information synthesis skills, analysis, communication skills, creativity, situation handling skills, etc.

That is the reason why the Newton inter-level school system is focusing on developing the three subjects of Mathematics, Information Technology and English throughout the 12 years of study. Teachers use advanced teaching methods for these subjects, combining the achievements and inventions of technology, thereby making students interested and easily receptive.

Not only 100% of teachers are proficient in applying information technology in teaching, Newton is also a pioneer in allowing all students to use tablets in class. With this method, students are "liberated" from the four walls, working with digital experts such as ChatGPT, Google, Bing... This contributes to providing students with a lot of open information, being proactive in learning, stimulating the ability to explore and develop thinking. The tablet grading method contributes to freeing teachers from manual grading (because it takes time and effort), grading and correction are more accurate, more diverse with many questions. At the same time, parents also receive their children's results faster, closely grasping daily learning.

According to Ms. Le Thi Bich Dung, the school aims to improve students' information technology skills to become the foundation for all fields and careers they choose in the future. "When they finish grade 12, the students' level will be equivalent to that of second-year university students majoring in information technology, even if they do not study this major," she hopes.

In the future, Newton continues to aim for optimal methods to train generations of “global students” – excelling in information technology, foreign languages ​​and leadership skills. The school also moves towards smart school management, creating a system that connects all parents, students, teachers and principals.

Many "Newton students" have created a reputation and brand for the school, including Do Nhat Nam - English prodigy, Pham Minh Thanh - PhD in the youngest Top in Vietnam, Nguyen Bui Duc Dung - Top student of IT 2022 Hanoi, currently in the National Team 2023, Le Dien Hieu - Top student of Physics Hanoi 2021 (currently in the National Team 2023), Do Hai Nam - Top student of Mathematics specialized at the University of Education 2023...

In 2023, Newton was in the top 5 schools with impressive achievements in the 10th grade exam in Hanoi. 9th grade students of Newton Secondary and High School led Bac Tu Liem district with an average score of 40.57 (average score of 9.05 for English; 8.37 for Math and 7.39 for Literature).
