Nghe An Province Traffic Safety Committee presented over 71,000 helmets to first graders.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 14, at Nghi Phong Primary School, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Provincial Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with relevant units to organize a helmet donation ceremony for first graders, school year 2023 - 2024 with the theme "Keeping the dream".
On this occasion, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with Honda Vietnam Company to present over 71,000 helmets to first grade children in the 2023-2024 school year at 494 Primary Schools in the province.

The helmet donation aims to raise people's awareness of compliance with the mandatory regulation of wearing helmets that meet national standards when riding motorbikes, scooters, and electric bicycles; create motivation to mobilize society to implement "Wearing helmets for children when riding motorbikes, scooters, and electric bicycles", striving to achieve the goal of 100% of children wearing standard helmets when participating in traffic by motorbike, scooter, and electric bicycle, contributing to reducing casualties caused by traffic accidents for children.

Speaking at the helmet awarding ceremony, Mr. Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee also requested all levels, sectors, and social organizations to strengthen the dissemination of laws on traffic safety and order in schools, striving to achieve the goal of 100% of children wearing standard helmets when participating in traffic by motorbike, scooter, and electric bicycle; forming a "Traffic Culture" right from when students are still in school, contributing to reducing traffic accidents in the province.
