Although the market economy is in a period of stagnation and recession, in Thai Hoa town, the growth rate and number of enterprises are still increasing. The dynamism and quick adaptation of the young business community has been helping the young town change every day.
Although it was only established 3 years ago, the business community participating in the Business Networking International (BNI) in Phu Quy has had about 100 members, with 38 members participating in regular activities. Sharing about this community, Mr. Tran Hoai Thanh - Director of BNI Phu Quy said: “Adapting to the changing times, businesses in Thai Hoa town have quickly caught up with the business trend of the digital era. In addition to the traditional business model, they take advantage of the Internet and AI to find customers, increase sales, and appear on e-commerce platforms. Compared to previous years, the number of business households registering to establish businesses is increasing, the age of the business team is getting younger, and the service sector is increasingly diverse. In particular, health care, beauty services and high-tech agriculture are developing rapidly”.
Selling drones for agriculture, Mr. Nguyen Binh Dinh (born in 1991) shared: “Although the office is located in Quynh Luu district, I participate in activities with BNI Phu Quy members every week. The business community in Thai Hoa town is very dynamic, the people here are open and ready to change, accept new things to keep up with the trend. Born and raised in the North, after a period of working in Hanoi, Mr. Tran Van Thien (born in 1996) decided to return to his wife's hometown to start a business in Thai Hoa town. After only 2 years of construction, his English center has 4 facilities in Nghe An. Assessing the development potential in Thai Hoa town, Mr. Thien shared: "The facility in Thai Hoa town is the facility with the fastest growth rate and highest revenue. In my opinion, this development is motivated by local policies in attracting investment, the completion of infrastructure and progress in people's views and awareness. People here are hard-working, dynamic in economic development and they are willing to invest in the best products and services for their children."
According to Mr. Thien, when he opened the center, English teaching facilities in the area were still very simple, mainly teaching to increase school scores. But now, after only 2 years, English centers in the area have invested in spacious, modern facilities with foreign teachers and rich extracurricular programs, aiming at the goal of international English integration.

Sharing about the physical education and sports movement in the town, Ms. Nguyen Dau Que Huong - Head of the Town's Culture and Information DepartmentThai Hoasaid: “In most of the holidays and events of Thai Hoa town, we organize welcoming sports tournaments and receive enthusiastic response from the people. Compared to other localities, the physical education and sports movement of Thai Hoa town is much more prominent, the rate of people practicing physical education and sports is high and the rate of families achieving the title of Sports Family is also high. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the town's establishment, Thai Hoa town organized the first Town Cycling Race, attracting 100 athletes to participate, recognized by the Department of Culture and Sports for both its scale and professionalism in organizing work".
Most recently, on the morning of November 18, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Town Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the town organized an online fundraising race "Warm Tet in the Western Region of Nghe An" with the participation of nearly 200 officials and union members. This activity not only demonstrates the spirit of physical exercise and sports but also shows the awareness of young people in Thai Hoa town with social security activities.
