Speaking on Russia 24 TV channel, Mr. Alaudinov said that Russia will end its special campaign in Ukraine in 2024.

"We are doing really well now. Every day, the soldiers are moving forward, knocking out the enemy, taking control of the fortified positions that Ukraine has entrenched. In principle, the enemy has suffered huge losses. Now, we have made progress in some areas, we are preparing to move forward in others. I think that 2024 will be the year when we finally end the special military operation," Alaudinov said.

Special Forces Commander Akhmat believes that, in fact, Russia has won. In addition, a turning point has taken place in the minds of the Ukrainian people and people in the world elite.

According to Mr. Alaudinov, the Russian army now needs to “complete its work competently without suffering major losses.”

The Ukrainian counteroffensive began on June 4, and three months later, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Ukrainian “counteroffensive” had not only stalled, but “was a failure.” By early December, the offensive had cost the Ukrainian Armed Forces more than 125,000 dead and wounded.

Without military success, Ukraine will find it much harder to get support from the West. On the other hand, Russia has shown its willingness to negotiate. President Putin has stated, "either we will come to an agreement and agree on certain terms, or Russia will decide by force."
