Nghe An organizes workshop to discuss strategic orientation for cultural development to 2030
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 27, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized a scientific workshop "From the outline of Vietnamese culture - strategic orientation for cultural development of Nghe An province to 2030".
Attending the workshop were scientists: Dr. Le Doan Hop - Former member of the Party Central Committee, former Minister of Information and Communications, former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Professor, Dr. Dinh Xuan Dung - Former member of the Central Council of Theory, former Vice Chairman of the Central Council of Literary Theory and Criticism; Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Van Bai - Vice Chairman of the National Cultural Heritage Council.
The workshop also had the participation of researchers from the following agencies: Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts, Hanoi University of Culture, University of Culture, Military University of Culture and Arts...
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Van Dung - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, districts, cities and towns.
Speaking at the workshop, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Tran Thi My Hanh said: In 2023, a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishmentVietnamese culture outlinedeployed nationwide.
Implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized the scientific workshop "From the Outline of Vietnamese culture - strategic orientation for cultural development of Nghe An province to 2030" with the aim of widely disseminating to departments, localities in the province, scientists, cultural and artistic practitioners and people about the historical significance, the significance of the times, the core values of theory and practice, the influence of the outline of Vietnamese culture in the past 80 years on the economic, cultural and social activities of Nghe An province; at the same time, research and propose solutions to orient the strategy for cultural development of Nghe An province to 2030 and the next stage.
At the workshop, the presentations of scientists and researchers emphasized the role of the 1943 Vietnamese Culture Outline as a driving force for cultural development and building Vietnamese people in general and Nghe An in particular.
Regarding the current state of Nghe An's cultural development, the presentations focused on assessing the potential for diverse and rich cultural development of Nghe An, from tangible culture (relics, scenic spots) tointangible culture(human resources, traditional culture, revolutionary culture), is assessed to have enough internal strength for Nghe An to create major breakthroughs and top cultural products.
The presentations objectively reviewed the journey of building and developing Nghe An culture in recent years. Besides recognizing the comprehensive and even development and the gradual formation of a new appearance in the right direction, imbued with national identity, expressing the characteristics of Nghe An culture, the experts also frankly pointed out the current status of promoting cultural values in Nghe An that is not commensurate with the cultural potential of the province; analyzed and warned of objective and subjective risks that negatively impact the preservation and promotion of culture.
The presentations also analyzed the advantages and difficulties, assessed the potential and internal strength of Nghe An culture, thereby proposing many specific orientations and solutions to develop Nghe An culture with the motto "Nghe An is no exception but different and outstanding" with the aim of creating a breakthrough for the province's culture to enter a new period of prosperity.
Speaking at the conclusion of the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long respectfully thanked the researchers and managers who contributed their enthusiasm and intelligence by submitting papers to the workshop; at the same time, assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to continue researching the solutions oriented and proposed by the workshop to improve professional activities, advise on specific policies and plans to develop and revive culture, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
