Summary of the contest to create logos and slogans for Nghe An tourism
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 28, the Organizing Committee of the Nghe An Tourism Logo and Slogan Design Contest held a summary meeting.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Tourism.
Also attending were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; leaders of districts, cities and towns in the province.
With the goal of renewing Nghe An tourism identity, conveying the contribution and rise of the tourism industry in the socio-economic development of the province, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to organize the Contest to create logos and slogans for Nghe An tourism.
The contest was launched on June 16, 2023, and the submission period is from the launch date to October 31, 2023. At the end of the contest period, the Organizing Committee received 133 valid entries from 41 authors from 15 provinces and cities across the country.
The judging process takes place in 3 steps, in which step 1 is the preliminary judging, selecting 5 works; step 2 is organizing a referendum on 5 works; step 3 is the final judging and selecting 1 work to win the First Prize and 3 works to win the Encouragement Prize.
Through the contest, based on the winning works, the Organizing Committee has unanimously chosen a new identity for Nghe An tourism, including a logo and slogan: The logo is taken from the logo of the author who won the first prize of the contest, which is a stylized 5-petal lotus flower.
The slogan: "Nghe An Tourism - Uncle Ho's homeland" conveys the message about Nghe An land rich in historical values, unique and distinct culture and diverse and rich natural beauty with typical and outstanding cultural and tourism products and destinations, associated with President Ho Chi Minh's homeland as the core value.
