Arrested subject possessing more than 720kg of fireworks

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 31, Dien Chau District Police said that the unit had just arrested Tran Van Hung, residing in Dien Ky Commune, Dien Chau District, for the act of "Possessing prohibited goods".

Accordingly, in early December 2023, through screening work, Dien Chau District Police discovered that subject Tran Van Hung (born in 1968, residing in Dien Ky commune) had suspicious signs of criminal activities, so they established a special project to concentrate forces and means to fight and arrest him.

After a period of closely following the subject's movements, at around 7:00 a.m. on December 30, 2023, Dien Chau District Police successfully discovered the case, caught Tran Van Hung red-handed for the act of "Possessing prohibited goods", and seized more than 720 kg of 36-piece fireworks.

At the Investigation Police Agency of Dien Chau District Police, Tran Van Hung confessed all his crimes.

Currently, Dien Chau District Police have detained Tran Van Hung to continue investigating and expanding the case.
