(Baonghean.vn) - The Nghe An Youth Association in Hanoi has a journey to bring practical gifts to share the difficulties and hardships with poor people in remote areas of Cam Muon commune, Que Phong district, with a total value of more than 350 million VND.

During the New Year holidays and the beginning of the new year 2024, members of the Nghe An Youth Association in Hanoi coordinated with sponsors to travel hundreds of kilometers to bring the program "Warm Border 2023" to ethnic people in the Huoi May residential area, Cam Pom village, Cam Muon commune, Que Phong district.

Huoi May residential area is 30 km from Cam Muon commune center, including 37 households, 100% of which are ethnic minorities, poor households, with many difficulties in material life, isolated from neighboring villages by more than 5 km of streams. Therefore, Huoi May has many "no" things, including: no electricity, no kindergarten, no medical station, no clean water, no phone signal.

After many hours of traveling by truck, swaying with gifts and items in the truck bed, overcoming winding streams and steep slopes, the program organizers reached the residential area and organized exchange activities with the children there.

After the initial moments of confusion, the children were completely attracted by the new games, getting along with their seniors in the group and the meaningful gift boxes.

Understanding the deprivation, wanting to inspire the children's confidence and desire to rise up, the program's Organizing Committee cooked a nutritious meal for the children including dishes such as shrimp, squid, sausage, ham, fish...

Teacher E (teacher in the village) shared: "This is the first time the children have seen shrimp, squid... making them very excited to enjoy these dishes."

One of the special gifts that the Nghe An Youth Association in Hanoi gave to the people and students of Cam Pom in 2023 was to connect and call on benefactors to build the "Warm Border 2023" bridge.

The bridge has a total investment value of more than 210 million VND, helping to connect the two parts of the residential area. Mr. Sang - representative of AUZE Limited Liability Company, who sponsored the construction of the bridge, shared: "I hope that this meaningful bridge of fellow countrymen will help people travel, help people not worry about separation when the flood season comes, not have to wade into the cold water in the cold winter days, and soon realize the dream of escaping poverty".

With the desire to share and understand the difficulties of not having electricity for lighting, in addition to building the bridge, Minh Duc Informatics Company has sponsored 42 sets of solar lights to light up the village with a total value of nearly 70 million VND, 150 sets of stationery for students, a gate for the school and a speaker for the village.

In addition, the sponsors that the group connected with also supported many other gifts such as blankets, necessities, 35 sets of warm uniform coats, new clothes... with a total value of more than 350 million VND.

1 day of gift giving, interacting with students and people of Cam Pom, membersvolunteer groupTogether with the villagers, they gathered around the campfire.
