(Baonghean.vn) - Based on the nephew's denunciation, Nghe An Border Guard coordinated to fight and arrest 3 subjects in a cross-border human trafficking ring.
My Ly Border Guard Station received information about a local resident.tricked into going to Chinasold 10 years ago, so he encouraged the victim to file a complaint against the subjects who tricked the victim into going abroad.
On December 14, 2023, Ms. Vi Thi U. (victim's name has been changed) in My Ly commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province went directly to My Ly Border Guard Station to denounce the subjects who tricked her into selling her abroad.
After receiving the information, realizing that there was a network with the participation of many subjects in different areas, My Ly Border Guard Station reported to the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command for direction. Nghe An Border Guard established a project and was approved by the Border Guard Commander, then deployed forces to coordinate with the Northern Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force and the Border Guard Drug and Crime Prevention Department to investigate and arrest subjects involved in the U. victim trafficking ring abroad.

Trusting the recommendation of her relatives, along with the prospect of earning a lot of money, at that time, Ms. U. agreed to go abroad to do business. Under Thuyen's arrangement, Ms. U. left the area and was picked up by a man in Vinh city (Nghe An), then handed over to another woman. This woman took a bus to take U. from Nghe An to Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province to China to sell to a man named Ly Loi for an amount equivalent to about 45 million VND.
From the information in Ms. U's complaint, Border Guard detectives investigated and determined that the man who had the role of tricking and leading the victim from Ky Son district to Vinh city at that time was Kha Van Ngoc. When working with the investigating officers, Ngoc confessed to his actions related to the case of tricking and selling Ms. U across the border.

Accordingly, many years ago, while going to Ky Son district to buy wood, Ngoc met Ms. Lo Thi Thuyen's family, and then they shared capital to do business. In 2010, while going to buy goods in Tuong Duong district, Kha Van Ngoc met Vi Thi Vien (commonly known as Bien) and became close. Vi Thi Vien told Kha Van Ngoc: "You travel so much, you should find women in the highland districts so I can take them to sell to people in China, we will have money, in addition to the wages we receive, we will share the profits".
Kha Van Ngoc talked about finding someone to take across the border to sell for money with Lo Thi Thuyen.
In May 2014, Thuyen told Ngoc: there was a nephew named U, who was sad about family matters and wanted to go far away to work. After receiving the information, Ngoc discussed with Vien and agreed to let Lo Thi Thuyen approach and encourage U. to leave the area to go to China to find work. After that, under the arrangement of Lo Thi Thuyen, Kha Van Ngoc picked U. up and took her to Vinh city to hand her over to Vi Thi Vien to take her to China to sell.
With the evidence collected, the authorities promptly arrested 3 subjects in the human trafficking ring, including: Vi Thi Vien (born in 1976), residing in Luu Kien commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province; temporarily residing at Boarding House No. 20, Dau Vu block, Van Dau ward, Kien An district, Hai Phong city; Kha Van Ngoc (born in 1963), residing in Lang Khe commune, Con Cuong district, Nghe An province and Lo Thi Thuyen (born in 1964), residing in My Ly commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

Currently, Nghe An Border Guard has completed the case file, prosecuted the case and handed over the 3 subjects to Nghe An Provincial Police according to the provisions of law.
