Earlier, Bloomberg published an article saying that the US is asking Ukraine to have a clearer plan for military action. According to sources, the White House is asking for specific action information in the coming weeks.

"This is a message that Washington does not know anything about Kiev's calculations, and President Joe Biden does not force Ukraine to freeze the war. However, this is exactly the position of Ukraine. The signs on the battlefield show that Ukraine is on the defensive, and then some negotiations begin. High-ranking officials such as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Director of the Main Intelligence Directorate, and President Zelensky are implicitly sending such signals. At some point, the Ukrainian leader must clearly say this," argued expert Dmitry Korneychuk.

To clarify his assessment, Korneychuk said that the head of the Ukrainian intelligence service, Kirill Budanov, has stopped talking about the possibility of an attack on Crimea. Meanwhile, six months ago, Budanov often talked about a rapid offensive in Crimea. And now he is talking about the opposite - it is impossible to advance anywhere, the Russians have a large number of drones and minefields.

According to expert Korneychuk, the US administration only "pretends" that it is not involved in these processes. Washington deliberately creates the impression that "decisions are made by Kiev".

Korneychuk believes that Ukraine and the West are preparing to “freeze” the conflict. At the same time, the public will be told that Ukraine may not be able to withstand a prolonged confrontation due to Russia’s military and economic superiority.
