Accordingly, famous artists such as Meritorious Artist Quoc Khanh, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung, People's Artist Cong Ly, People's Artist Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac, artist Van Dung, artist Quang Thang... were all welcomed and especially loved by the audience. Up to now, after more than 20 years since the program aired, Tao Quan 2024 surprised everyone by the absence of a series of famous artists who have been associated with the program for a long time.
The only veteran face remaining in the program is People's Artist Quoc Khanh in the role of Ngoc Hoang. The "Tao" cast familiar to television audiences such as Chi Trung, Cong Ly, Tu Long, Xuan Bac, Van Dung, Quang Thang... will not be present in the program "Meeting at the end of the year: Tao Quan 2024."

People's Artist Quoc Khanh is the only veteran actor still associated with Tao Quan 2024. The role of the Jade Emperor in each season of "Tao Quan" has left a unique impression in the hearts of the public. A collection of humorous sayings of this character can be mentioned as: "Like pink, hate lies", "Be determined to get things done", "Do nothing but still be rich, only by cheating"...
Not only successful in the theater industry, Quoc Khanh also has a special connection with cinema. In 2006, the actor received the Golden Kite Award for Best Actor for his role as the hunchback in the film "Ao lua Ha Dong". In 2012, he was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist.
Regarding his personal life, Meritorious Artist Quoc Khanh is currently single. At retirement age, he has never been married and has no intention of getting married in the future.
"Nam Tao" Xuan Bac's career is on the rise
Xuan Bac is one of the most prominent names in the Northern comedy scene. "Nam Tao" is loved for his natural and charming acting style. In addition to comedy, Xuan Bac shows his versatility by taking on many different roles: TV actor, MC, judge, guest... for many different programs and events.
The male artist has hosted many TV shows such as: "Thank God, You're Here", "Catch the Picture" and most recently "King of Vietnamese Language". In early 2021, Xuan Bac was appointed Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater.
For his contributions to artistic activities, Xuan Bac was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 2016. In 2021, he was appointed Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater.
Besides acting and MCing, Xuan Bac actively participates in many group activities, social movements, volunteer movements and has a positive influence on the public, especially young people.
He was once awarded the title of Outstanding Youth of the Capital. In 2010, Xuan Bac was chosen as UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) Goodwill Ambassador for clean water and environmental sanitation. Currently, he is one of the 8 Vice Presidents of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, term VIII.

"Miss Dau" Cong Ly leaves his mark on TV series
People's Artist Cong Ly is also one of the veteran actors of the show "Tao Quan". Not only did he make an impression with the role of "Co Dau", Cong Ly also appeared in many TV series aired on VTV such as: "Girls in the City", "Rose on the Left Chest", "Taste of Love"... and were all loved by the audience.
In 2019, Cong Ly was awarded the title of People's Artist and appointed Deputy Director of Hanoi Drama Theater in May 2020.
In mid-2021, People's Artist Cong Ly had to be hospitalized after slipping and falling at his home. Many colleagues, friends and audiences were worried about the artist's health. After a long treatment, People's Artist Cong Ly's health has now shown positive progress.
His absence from Tao Quan 2022 made many people regret, but in the program "Tao Quan 2023", Cong Ly returned with 'Co Dau', making the audience burst into emotions. He has also gradually returned to work at the theater and participated in a number of TV series.

When mentioning Tu Long in Tao Quan, the audience is impressed with the series of Tao roles he has played.
Artist Tu Long is also a rare face who takes on many roles, not fixed characters in Tao Quan. He has played many different Tao roles such as Drainage Tao, Culture - Education Tao, Sports Tao, Land Tao, Traffic Tao...
Tu Long humorously shared about his roles: "I rarely have a fixed role in Tao Quan, but often run around, playing "strange" Tao roles. Sometimes near the end, a new Tao appears, and Tu Long will play that Tao role."
On the Tao Quan stage, Tu Long is also known as "Singing Tao" because there is no session where he does not sing, and he even sings more than he speaks. Tu Long often sings cheo, and is nicknamed "Long cheo" because he originally came from the Army Cheo Theater.
People's Artist Tu Long's full name is Vu Tu Long, born in 1973, from Bac Ninh. In 1998, after graduating from the University of Theatre and Cinema, Tu Long was recruited to the Vietnam Cheo Theatre.
In 1999, Tu Long joined the General Logistics Department Cheo troupe of the Army. He started out as a flag bearer and signal man on the Cheo stage. After that, Tu Long was selected to compete in the National Cheo Festival.
In 2014, Tu Long was appointed Deputy Director of the Army Cheo Theater. He was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 2012. Before becoming Meritorious Artist, he had won 9 medals, including 8 gold and 1 silver.
After that, he continued to win 3 more gold medals, 1 silver medal and one-third of the converted gold medals through the performances and certificates of merit from the Ministry of National Defense in 2014. In early 2016, artist Tu Long was considered for the title of People's Artist.
In 2012, Tu Long and his first wife divorced. In 2015, he married Tran Minh Nguyet - a lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts. After 8 years together, Tu Long and Minh Nguyet's marriage was happy and warm. They have 3 children together, 2 girls and 1 boy. The first two girls are affectionately called Big Apple and Little Apple at home. In 2022, Tu Long welcomed his son at the age of U50.
Sharing about how to raise children, People's Artist Tu Long said: "I will teach my children the way my parents taught me, in the way that people commonly call "the way of the land and the customs", "even torn paper must keep the rules".

However, for Van Dung, the most impressive role in her career is still the Health God. The female artist shared with PV Dan Tri: "After 20 years of working with "Tao Quan", I was lucky to be assigned many different Tao roles. But perhaps the most successful is the character of Health God. The audience is familiar with this image, and I personally like it very much. But if I am assigned another role, I will still accept it and try to complete it completely. I work in this profession, hoping to bring joy to the audience, it is difficult to be picky."
Regarding her private life, Van Dung is quite secretive. The female artist has faced many rumors of marrying a rich man and then falling in love with a young man, but she always considers it normal. "For me, as a public figure, living in the showbiz environment, today people say I married a rich man, tomorrow they say I love a young man, the day after that they say I love an old man... is normal. I just think simply: Once people stop gossiping about me, it means no one cares about me anymore, that is a failure in the life of an artist. It doesn't matter what people think about me as long as people still think about me, that is something I am very grateful for," Van Dung shared.

In addition, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung is also a film actor. He has had impressive roles in films such as "The Beautiful Lady and the Rich Man", "The Grand Tutor Tran Thu Do". Most recently, the male artist played the role of Mr. Phuc in the TV series "The Narrow Alley In-Law".
