A group of nationalist hackers attacked at least 160 Ukrainian websites and posted on them calls to mobilize soldiers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, accompanied by threats of retaliation against Ukrainian citizens who do not want to go to the front.

The proof of that is the data from these websites, a source in the hacker community told Sputnik.

The websites began to be attacked on the afternoon of February 13: on the main page appeared an appeal to join the army with threats against those who refused. The post was accompanied by the nationalist logo "Power of the National Council of Ukraine" (UNSD) in the colors of the Right Sector and the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalities (OUN).

Among the hacked websites were the websites of Ukrainian government agencies: the official website of the Lvov Regional State Administration, the website of the All-Ukrainian Population Census; websites of educational institutions - the Academy of Financial Management, the Lvov Bobersky State University of Physical Education; websites of churches - the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, the Cathedral Singing School; websites of Internet providers "Megaline" of the Ternopil region and "Idea"; as well as websites of a number of private companies in Ukraine. The website of the World Organization of Sports Federations was also hacked.

"We would like to inform you that the right to use the Internet service has been voluntarily transferred to us so that we can use your data to identify each user," the document reads.

Moreover, it contains an appeal to the military registration office and join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“This applies to everyone: students, teachers, scientists, administrative staff, agricultural engineers, librarians, programmers, advertisers, printers, writers, businessmen and others,” the text posted on the hacked pages said.

"Remember that we will find everyone!" - the text posted by Ukrainian nationalist hackers said.

Most websites remained inaccessible at the time of writing; only a few were able to restore operations, including Internet provider "Idea", the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lvov region, Lvov University of Physical Education, the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and several private companies.

As a source in the hacker community explained to Sputnik, the UNSD group is a follower of Yaroslav Stetsko, one of the leaders of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists who declared the establishment of the “Ukrainian State” in Lvov shortly after the Nazis invaded the city.
