Nghe An Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital held a seminar to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 23, Nghe An Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital held a discussion on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2024).
At the Seminar, the Hospital staff reviewed the 12-year journey of establishment and development of Nghe An Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital; with many proud achievements. In 2020, the Hospital was awarded the title of "Green Hospital" by the Vietnam Association of Information and Consulting on Economic and Trade (VICETA) and the title of top 50 perfect services for consumer rights for medical examination and treatment services. In 2021, the People's Committee of Nghe An province commended the achievements in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.
Up to now, Nghe An Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital has become a trusted medical address for people in the province and the region. In 2023, the hospital received nearly 30,000 patients for medical examination, an increase of more than 15% compared to 2022; with nearly 7,000 surgeries, an increase of 14% compared to 2022. The hospital was honored to participate in reporting at the 20th Vietnam Orthopedic Trauma Conference and the Pediatric Orthopedic Trauma Conference. The hospital was also recognized for 3 provincial-level topics and initiatives; 16 grassroots topics.
Speaking at the Seminar, Dr. Nguyen Hoai Nam - Director of the Hospital shared his pride in the glorious tradition and achievements that the Hospital has achieved over the years, and at the same time, sent his deep thanks to generations of colleagues who have contributed their efforts and enthusiasm to build the Trauma - Orthopedic Hospital today; especially, those who have placed their trust and been with the Hospital since its early days of establishment.
On behalf of the Hospital Board of Directors, the Hospital Director also sent congratulations and wishes for health, happiness and success to the Hospital staff on Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27.
On this occasion, the Hospital also sent gifts of gratitude to former officers and employees of the Hospital through the years.
