Gold is expected to increase sharply this week

Domestic gold is listed at a high of 78.82 million VND/tael, world gold is expected to continue to increase rapidly in the new week.

DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 76.45 million VND/tael for buying and 78.65 million VND/tael for selling.

Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, listed the price of SJC gold at 77.00 - 78.00 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 76.65 - 78.55 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

On the world market, the gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 2,035.375 USD/ounce. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 59.717 million VND/tael.

Last week, gold prices fluctuated within the range of over 2,000 USD/ounce. In the context of the US Federal Reserve (FED) officials announcing that the FED is temporarily in no hurry to loosen monetary policy, the yellow precious metal is still considered to have a relatively steady increase.

In the weekly Kitco News survey, financial experts predicted that there will soon be a new rally in gold prices.

At Vietcombank,Vietcombank Japanese Yen exchange rate has buying rate of 158.33 VND/JPY and selling rate of 167.59 VND/JPY, down 0.25 VND on buying and down 0.26 VND on selling.

At Vietinbank, the Yen exchange rate increased by 0.76 VND in buying and decreased by 0.99 VND in selling, equivalent to 160.04 VND/JPY and 167.99 VND/JPY.

At BIDV Bank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.2 VND in buying and decreased by 0.19 VND in selling, reaching 159.44 VND/JPY and 167.88 VND/JPY, respectively.

At Agribank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate for buying and selling is 159.93 VND/JPY and 165.51 VND/JPY - down 0.42 VND for buying and down 0.44 VND for selling.

At Eximbank, the buying price increased by 1 VND and the selling price increased by 1.02 VND, respectively at 163.84 VND/JPY and 168.53 VND/JPY.

At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 0.02 VND in buying and selling prices at 156.69 VND/JPY and 167.67 VND/JPY, respectively.

At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 0.11 VND in buying and increased by 0.13 VND in selling, corresponding to the prices of 161.32 VND/JPY and 166.38 VND/JPY.

Oil prices turn up

Domestic coffee prices rise again

Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:50 a.m. on February 26, 2024, reversing to increase again; the increase was 600-700 VND/kg. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 82,000 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 82,300 VND/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is quite high at 82,000 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 82,300 VND/kg.

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 81,500 VND/kg.

In Dak Lak province, coffee is purchased at 82,100 to 82,200 VND/kg./.
